Hi, I’m traveling to Ecuador this year and I wanted to know if there was a particular bus service you used or could recommend. The ones I’ve heard of so far are cooperativa patria, express sucre and flote Imbabura. Did you use any of those?
@pamelamorales9554 to tell you the truth, there are multiple companies that serve different cities. When I arrived at bus stations, I simply searched for the next available departure and went with whichever company it was. This has been the case for many countries throughout south america, I don’t think they differ much. Hope this helpsb
@rawliciousyou i believe so! As with any country, there are safe and unsafe places but if you’re really worried, sticking to the most visited places you’ll be safe! I felt very safe :)
In that case, you would not have enough time to go down to Cuenca and even then you may feel rushed - I would recommend you sit down and really think about what you want to see and give yourself an extra day in your itinerary because you’ll most likely spend more time than you planned for in some of these places:)
@@kmprash i think that would make it a lot easier for all of you. Pull off whenever you want to and perhaps go to places off the beaten path. Car is a great idea, the roads are very well maintained!
@professorlee6197 make sure to acclimate for a day or two in Quito and you wont have any problems later. Car is great! I loved the buses and how prompt they were! If you can, get to Cuenca - stunning place!
Are you sure it's safe there in Quito? I have watched several videos of other travelers saying otherwise? It's not safe and you need to keep an eye on your belongings. Theft and pickpocketing are common there.
It really depends on everyone’s experience. You can have a wonderful time or you may run into trouble. During my visit, I felt very safe even when I went to off the beaten places. However, your best option is to ask locals or local tour companies and ask for their opinion as it changes. Recently Ecuador went through a rough time with violence but I think that is no longer the case
@LukeGeeTravels thank you!! I travel to Ecuador Sunday. I am a chocolatier and I will visit some cacao farms. I live in Wisconsin and this is my first time out of the country in quite a few years. I am sure I will love Ecuador. Thank you for the video!
I know:/ it’s very sad to see what is going on right now. I visited in 2019 when none of this was happening - it’s gotten worse. It’s best to avoid Guayaquil the most. I hope it gets better, such an amazing country!

@rawliciousyou i believe so! As with any country, there are safe and unsafe places but if you’re really worried, sticking to the most visited places you’ll be safe! I felt very safe :)
Felicidades sigue adelante 🇪🇨🇪🇨🇪🇨
Gracias por ver!
Thanks for the video. Everything looks better with a drone footage
It’s a whole different perspective! Sometimes it helps me discover places I didn’t even know were there!
simply superb. if we add amazon town and boating can we cover these in 8 days? with 2 teenagers kids 2 adults

thanks very much for response. do you recommend rental car for family of 4?

Hey Friend, please could you help me with the name of the AirBNB you stayed at.
In which city??
😂😂😊😊😊
Thank you for watching! Gracias por ver!😊
Thank you so much! I probably missed it, but did you mention which month you went to Ecuador?
I went towards the end of May! It is the end of wet season and the start of dry season - the perfect time in my opinion
@@LukeGeeTravelsoh no! Illl be there end of March
@ it really depends where you will be, it may rain for 2 hours in the afternoon and then stop
How were the people?
They were very kind! I talked to all sorts of people during my stay in Ecuador - Ecuadorians, Colombians, Venezuelans
Did you take the drone shots? We are heading there soon and was wondering how drone friendly they are.
I did! Not a single problem. I always launch my drone away from people so most of the times they don’t even know it’s up in the air :)
@@LukeGeeTravels that is great! We r super excited.
@@professorlee6197 you will have a great time! How much time are you planning to spend on the mainland?
@LukeGeeTravels 10 days. Flying into Quito and renting a car so a bit easier to travel than by bus
@professorlee6197 make sure to acclimate for a day or two in Quito and you wont have any problems later. Car is great! I loved the buses and how prompt they were! If you can, get to Cuenca - stunning place!
And galápagos?
I did not have the time to visit Galapagos, only mainland Ecuador this time

How was your tummy? Did you have any tummy trouble?
Not at all! I have been pretty lucky until my recent visit to Pakistan where on the very last day I got food poisoning 😬

@danielherskovic2103 how cool! I lived in Chicago before moving to Denver - they do use US dollar in Ecuador just an FYI! Have a wonderful time
Ecuador is beautiful but i don’t recommend visiting it now 😅
