As long as the brick is not too hard, you'll be fine. They will wear quicker than in medium density block but can be re-sharpened with a good quality file or a grinder when they lose their edge.

Hi,
Armeg channelling chisels are not designed to be used in really hard bricks (e.g. engineering bricks) but work fine in softer bricks (e.g. facing bricks).
As you can see in the video they work really well in meium density blockwork.

Thanks. I should have said that I was referring to ordinary red wall brick. Engineering brick is something else again!

Most of these chisel videos are always on a breeze blocks. Why not on bricks...Because it looks easy with breeze blocks there softer

From 36 seconds till the end. What's the name and product of the last chisel the goes behind the skirting board to make access easy for the wire?
