Sean reminds me of my big brother Tommy. So much trauma. So much anger. Pain. So much pain. Sean has fighting as an outlet. His trauma makes him tough & gritty. Again, my big brother was the same. He always fought. Even if he wasn’t the toughest & got knocked down, no one could keep him down. He just kept getting back up. Always. Until he was sick of fighting. At the age of 36 he took his own life. I pray his soul is at peace. I hope Sean never stops fighting. I hope he finds peace in this life as well.

WOW!! I did not think I was goin to end up crying when i turned on this podcast this morning! I have ALOT of respect for you Sean. Just to be so vulnerable talkin about the domestic violence you had to deal with as a small kid and the courage you showed is so amazing. I just RAN from a VERY abusive marriage with NOTHING. I had to leave everything behind. To wake up free with peace of mind without the stress of knowing the next battle is lurking around and you're just waiting for the other shoe to drop is priceless. Anyways just wanted to let you know how impressed I was with your interview since i didn't even know who you were and that I'm definitely now a fan and can't wait to sit and watch some of your fights!!❤ And it goes without saying that I'm already a HUGE fan of yours THEO!!❤❤❤

My trauma was a little different. My dad just wasn’t around at all and It was just me and my mom for so long.

The fact that he was willing and able to get vulnerable and talk about his past and have the courage to post it is inspiring. It’s heartbreaking and encouraging at the same time. The fact that he’s genius to see how Sean holds very contradictory beliefs, and as someone who has experienced and takes his trauma seriously, it’s just hypocritical that he isn’t empathetic to others’ trauma.
He said when Dricus insulted him about being beat as a kid, those words “crossed the line”. Sean thinks you can’t joke or insult people about child abuse because it’s a sensitive.
You can see how much it hurts him thinking about it and thinking about the trauma he associates with it.
But he doesn’t hold the same perspective to other peoples’ traumas. People who were beat up as kids for being a different race, and women who were sexually assaulted get the same bad feelings when someone insults them about those things the same way Sean gets bad feelings when someone insults him about his things.
But Sean disregards other peoples’ trauma entirely, despite knowing how his trauma makes him feel, which is just hypocritical.
