- This is live recording from 70000 Tons of Metal cruise, where I played two sets with Wintersun filling-in for Mr. Kai Hahto. The Pool Deck set was playing the first Wintersun album back-to-back, where this drumcam was recorded.
Everything you hear is absolutely live and recorded that night. Nothing has been edited, fixed or tweaked afterwards. Minor mixing processing has been done by me, so this is absolutely not professional mixing work. :)

I always had that feeling that you were for bigger things like wintersun, since I have been listening to norther I knew you had a flow with the drumm so god with differents tempos , now when you play more difficult songs like this, your true potential comes to light, much success! !

Saw this guy a few days ago play with finntroll. Wasn't a FT fan but the drumming i heard changed that. Man. clean as a whistle, tight as hell

@@HeikkiSaari dude, i loved the show at Meh Suff in Switzerland and even sang Happy B Day for you, which i never do, just because i loved the drumming so much haha. Once you did some cool snare roll i was always hoping to get another one of these tight double bass barrages, couldnt get enough. Also, I thought to myself "hmm, that sounds like a pro drummer" once i heard you playing some nice tasty ghost notes and interesting beats in one of the earlier songs. Also, the kit was sounding so good. The song where you play a blast without any other instruments...man, cleanest live blast i have heard in a long time even though it probably was a two foot blast. I couldnt really tell though, it was just too good. First two foot blast i heard live that didnt wobble around at all. Could have been a single foot blast for all i know lol. As a drummer myself, this was all chefs kiss experience for me dude.
Hey, would you let me know what doublebass technique you use for the faster stuff? ive seen you heel toeing on other vids but I thought to myself you wouldnt have used it in the Finntroll set as it was way way too clean lol. I am also trying to up my HT technique but its so hard to get it up to sounding even even in force and also in placement with triggers and all. Would be good to know what is possible.
