Finally, a thorough review of a 3+1 Eb tuba! As a non-brit who's interested in buying one someday, it's surprisingly hard to find demos with decent audio quality
I hope it was helpful! I’ll definitely be doing more videos featuring it. If I left anything out, or if there is anything you want to know, I’ll be glad to help.
And I hope to find the optimal distance for the microphone.
As someone just picking up tuba again after 45 years, I want one of these so badly. Beautiful tone, spot on intonation, probably about the best bang for the buck out there.
I have to agree that these are great tubas, and it helps that they aren’t terribly expensive.
@@buffalobillhI thought it was a euphonium for a bit

Gotcha. I do have a Packer euphonium, and it is an excellent euphonium, however, I’m not enough of a euphonium player to do it justice on video (or anywhere else).
@@buffalobillh I could say the same for a trombone I have. Blessing F trigger, 8.5 in bell. Model and serial number is scratched off though, I got it used
@@Euphonium_boi
I used to double occasionally on trombone and bass bone 😳 - I can relate. I sure wouldn’t do it in public today!
Thanks for a great review 👍
Thanks. It was my pleasure!
Love your reviews, Bill! Keep it up!!!
Likewise, my friend!!!
I have this tuba now for a few days. Good constructed, finish and weldings. Surprisingly! Fat sound and easy response. I have to find out more about the tuning and intonation. Maybe I will cut in the compensationtube of the first valve, on the backside.

Thanks for sharing your impressions of the tuba. I hope you will let me know how you like the tuba after you have played it for a while. I really enjoy mine!
thank you-gorgeous uloading. farewell,
Thank you!
Santa bring the overalls🤔 Cool tuba!! 👍
I have a regular pair, and I have these striped Sunday-go-to-meetin’ pair for public outings and tuba videos.
Nice!
Thanks!
The case pads are moveable.
I saw that. I’ll figure out what works best. It’s a nice case for sure!
I have that T-shirt!!!
Cool! All you need is a pair of Liberty overalls! I need to take inventory of my tuba shirts. That might be a video of its own!
Is this Tuba equipped with belt loops/marching rings??
Yes. It has marching rings on the back side just like the Boosey and Besson compensating Eb tubas.
Thx for your reply.

You’re welcome.
Is that a lacquered silver?
It’s silver plated. No lacquer.
I like Bb tubas much more.
I understand. I also have a large Bb tuba, and it is a wonderful instrument.
That will change the more you play. EEb is a much more versatile instrument. And I’m primarily a Bbb player. Both bessons.
