  • Ian Rafalko was raised in a prominent Scientology family. He joined staff at Atlanta “ideal org” and married a scientologist. Eventually he broke free, lost his wife and family and spoke out in a viral TikTok about his father Dr. Eric Berg. Ian shares about his time in the church and how he has moved forward in life since leaving scientology.

    I grew up being raised by narcissistic mother. Hearing what it is like to be a child of Scientologist I dare to say my mother was a Scientologist not knowing such organisation even exists. To escspe from my mother's Cult- like household and to disconnect from her I had to move to another country. Now dealing with PTSD and seveer depression I am building my live back. My Heart goes to all children and adults who have to go through this nightmare ❤

    Excellent interview. I can totally relate to Ian’s insight and experience with his Scientology parents. I’m a second generation kid from the 70/80’s at the Toronto org. I’ve been out of Scientology for almost 40 years and I’m still processing the aftermath of its impact on me. 🇨🇦

    Very interesting interview. As a never in, it must be a struggle for former Scientologists to rid the themselves of all the teachings and mind control.
    Always enjoy your interviews Mike. 💕🇨🇦

    As a fellow person on the spectrum, Ian's stories of how he used the text against the supervisors because he was following the logic presented, sounds very much like what i did to me evangelical parents with the Bible. Thank you for sharing the interview. I don't come from scientology but many aspects of Ian's story really resonate with points in my own. I've been feeling pretty down and alone and this helped a lot. So thank you.

    I have an almost boundless level of respect for Ian for being one of the few or maybe the only ex-Scientologist streamer to acknowledge and defend LGTBQIA people and issues on his channel

    Mike - a question. Is Clearwater named after the Scientology cult or is this coincidental?

    • @ICN8IVE
      @ICN8IVE 3 місяці тому +4

      Completely coincidental , it existed prior to Scientology's arrival.
