Michael Jackson Memorial - Daughter Paris speech

- The celebration of Michael Jackson ended on an emotional note when his rarely seen daughter, Paris, 11, stepped up to the microphone in tears to remember her father.
"Ever since I was born, Daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine," she said, surrounded by aunts Janet and La Toya Jackson. "And I just want to say I love him so much."
This is seriously brave for an 11 year old to do, honestly.
Not just an 11-year-old, an 11-year-old on the absolute worst day(s) of her life.
I was literally fine throughout the entire memorial but when Paris spoke I cried.

I think hearing him be referred to as daddy by his daughter really humanized him and removed him from that superstar light that I had see him in. I knew he was a dad but hearing her and seeing her pain really put it into perspective

I can feel her pain..I adored my dad and I lost him at 22..I spoke at his service 2 and the raw emotion in her voice made me feel for her...u can tell she loved her dad so much and they had a bond that meant alot to her...god bless her...i hope Sue thrives in life and makes her dad proud as he watches over her...
I can feel her pain too. I adored my mom and lost her in 2019 to Alzheimer’s disease. This speech to Paris’s father was very well spoken and very touching on so many levels. 😢

Still crying this year hearing Paris speak at her dear father’s memorial service. 💕 I couldn’t even imagine myself losing my parents at such a young age like this. 😭 Michael, you were truly one of a kind. Your moonwalkers and family miss your enlightening presence so dearly. Please continue to watch over your kids. They I know are definitely going places and are making you proud everywhere they go too.

they said right after she said her speech about her daddy when they were backstage, she just broke down and started to cry like crazy. :( i wish he was still alive, notso much for his fans but for his kids. blanket was crying you can see that when Marlon took the mic and Randy was steering him off the stage. so sad

I didn't have the strength to speak at my dad's funeral, I was in too much emotional pain. I was borderline suicidal because I just couldn't imagine life without my dad. It's been almost 20 years and it still hurt like it was yesterday. Paris was stronger than I was.

@kittydollface I don't think they were forcing her - I think she really wanted to speak and they were just trying to make it as easy for her as possible. If you look at the beginning she says something to one of her uncles and they started to prepare the mic. And if you look at how protective they are at the end, I don't think they'd force her to do anything.

Right at the start you can see it's totally inpromtue. It is unplanned. She asks to speak, they hastily adjust the mic and one of the brothers leans over and says she doesnt have to or something like that and she say "I would like to." you can read her lips and even hear it slightly on the mic.
I dont know about Latoya, but Jermaine wasn't laughing, you can see he was upset, he just opens his mouth, it us downturned and his chin was trembling, he was trying to hold it in and he is holding Blanket who is also crying.
Pity her father is dead. So let's just pray for Michael Jackson to go to Heaven with Jesus

I have many opinions on this funeral, if none of you what the thing about the yellow ribbons were but I'll tell you. The Yellow ribbon was a thing you would do when a loved one has gone, and that if you tie it round a tree they would come back, and here they are wearing yellow ties, and some have yellow roses or red roses. I watched a video of Paris and Paris said herself She can cry on the spot. Coincidence? There has been rumors about Michael death, and tell me this: Why did Jermaine change the words from the song Smile? And yellow Ying Yangs? When you see all the brothers sitting, why have they all got glasses on and the Silver Glove? Oh and why was Jermaine looking in a different direction? We all know Michael's favorite flower is the sunflower, so tell me why they don't have sunflowers at his funeral? Why isn't his casket opened? I mean it's all suspicious and Jermaine said on a news interview: " He passed away just before he got the airport " Then corrected himself by saying "Hospital" Okay first of all I honestly don't know how he got them words mixed up.. Second why would he be going to the airport? If you've watched this is it, you will notice that two backup singers have an LAX shirt on which is the airport code for Los Angeles Airport department (Something like that) When one of his brothers was giving a speech (I think it was Marlon) Jermaine or one of his other brothers noticed Paris playing with her purse and went over to keep an eye on her. Do you all remember e'scovana his double act? Well he had a terminal illness maybe Michael could of told him to take the propofol instead of him so it looked like Michael died? Answer this, if someones in an ambulance, no ones in there but the ambulance crew, and the windows are tinted obviously, how can you get a photo of him in the ambulance? If you notice when he was being taken out of the coroner's van there was no IV drip, and the straps were lose, ALSO on the picture of him in the ambulance, when they were doing CPR, the doctors hands were too far up his neck and the breathing thing (Can't remember what it's called) never covered up his top lips. Oh and when they did the autopsy, michaels shirt had dry blood on after so they police wouldnt carry on because the blood was dry. Now tell me, if there's dry blood a Police wouldn't leave it just because it's dry blood they would investigate it as it's still evidence. Now the 911 call, why did the ambulance crew say: Call back if you need any more help. Um hello? They wouldn't say that? They would normally tell you to stay on the line. Michael had mentioned he wanted to get away and go to a place that's quite and where the press and paparazzi wouldn't find him, like some place that has tall castles? Listen to the song This is It backwards, honestly it made me cry. It's all suspicious to be honest, but theres more evidence it may be fake but I'm not sure what to believe... If he is dead then Rest In Peace Michael, we will miss you, but if he's alive then, We miss you Michael please come back soon, in your own time

i think her speech was staged,because why would u make sure everyone there heres her crying while she is giving a speech i mean thats the last thing u would care about is them hearing u cry why u talk... My opinion.
