@@MichSignMan The original idea was better - just go to the Court house and sit in as audience. It's open to public. There's a good chance you would get another judge if you were there for a crime, as an audience you can choose.

I loved watching the teen daughters facial expressions! Wait mom is getting in trouble, never seen this before...sweet young lady.
On the first case I thought "Uh oh. Are we gonna see one REALLY MAD Judge?" but he totally surprised me with his once again compassionate side of thing. He not only as the ability to warm the heart but he can pleasantly surprise you as well.

Would have been nice if he had explained to her that a car that you register makes you legally responsible for not only tickets but also accidents. If she wasn't also insuring the car she would be in the hook for EVERYTHING.
DO NOT REGISTER VEHICLES THAT YOU DON'T OWN. WHEN YOU SELL A CAR MAKE SURE THE BUYER TRANSFERS THE TITLE.
Dunno how exactly that works but up here in Canada it's pretty simple. The ownership is a little green piece of paper kept with the car. When one person sells the car, all they need is a receipt (could be written on a napkin if you wanna be ultra ghetto) and the ownership signed. New person takes it the dmv and they do the rest. Only issue one could have is if a lien is placed against the VIN. Then you go back to the former owner and kick his head in.
We don't have that problem in Germany, because every car has to be insured :D

One of the most humble, lovely, soft, and admirable judges I have ever seen. I wish people like him are given bigger roles to cleanse the judicial systems across the world.

@@toadymallow Looked like a number of people were waving the school calendar around when the first one was dismissed.
Thats an ongoing issue in the states.. since they have low taxed ( well at least they believe it while its not realy true ) citys milk the car drivers wherever they can.
Because the school was not operational during that time so they think they could drive normally instead of school zone speed
ive been watching this judge for the past few months, I had realized already what a great judge he is but this episode just made me cry, what a big heart this man has, and what a wise man, what a compassionate person, I cant say enough...I wish him well...

Those he is a good hearted man, I strongly appreciate for what he did for this mom. I been in this mom shoes and when you go out of your way to help a friend or family member. There are times when they take your kind generosity for granted and this is the turning point to see if they are truly your friend or family. I wish her well and keeping her agreement with the judge because there is truly no other judge that could top off what judge Caprio has done to help this mom....bless his beautiful heart and soul 🌹👏🏻👏🏻💕

Judge Caprio is representative of the true meaning of being a Judge. Being a Judge requires that you weigh all of the evidence and hand down a verdict or punishment based on what is fair and just. To further punish someone who is already under pressure due to their circumstance is not just, hence the term cruel and unusual punishment. Would it be in the best interests of the public to demand $2400.00 from a woman with five children who is already experiencing tough times? No, it would not. His sentence of $100 for the boot is beyond his control as a contractor is used for this purpose and he has no option. The fine payments of $20.00 for ten continual weeks give her a chance to show that she is indeed trying and doing the best that she can do. If she messes it up, well that's another story. Unfortunately so many in the legal system take the easy way and go only with what is on the table before them and are inflexible in their verdicts. That is not true justice. It is a system and many times peoples circumstances do not fit within the system.............

As much as I love this show, the fact that you cant park outside of your own home is a travesty. In Nebraska where I live, this isn't even a thought. The only thing we have to do is move our cars when it snows. Outside of that, you can park in your neighbors front yard if you need too.

What a compassionate judge
Honestly I have NEVER met a person with so much empathy and understanding when it comes to other people's circumstance as much as this judge does. What makes it even better is that it shows us regular people that there are still good people who hold power and choose to do good and help those who just need a break.

Americans would be THRILLED to receive a parking ticket here in Norway😂 there aren’t any courts (or you COULD go to court and pay a few thousand to stop an 80 dollar parking ticket), but you get your ticket either on your car or in mail if you don’t pay it first hand, of at least 50 dollar (most likely 75+). You have to pay, penalties begin maybe 14 days after the pay date, and in about a month or two you would have penalties of twice the amounts of the ticket and have bad credit. Will there be a way to waive the penalties? Nope. Not at all, not ever, it just piles up 🙈 WELCOME to Norway 🇳🇴😂
