Shukraan Morocco 🇲🇦! Beautiful Fès 😍! In the beginning of the video I mention that some of the architecture has Spanish influence - of course I am referring to ANDALUCÍAN (present day Spain) which was Islamic at the time. The purpose of the video is to showcase the beauty of Fès and I hope you enjoy the beauty of the Medina as much as I did. Thank you to the people of Morocco for welcoming us!
Hello, I loved your vlog so much. I'm thinking of visiting Fez in Morocco so could you help me by providing me with the number or email of the guide tour man. thank you so much
Thank you! Our tour was with Gate1, and our guide was names Sinat. Each city had a local guide who you will see in the video. www.gate1travel.com/Package/MA-8DAFFMA-PKG-15
the oldest part of the medina called "FES EL BALI" was built in 789, and its architecture combined the berber, arabic and islamic architecture. the expansion of the old medina and its architecture depended on the dynasty rulling Morocco because each dynasty had its own specifics and different architectural styles. After the Reconquista in actual Spain and more specifically in Andalusia which had always been Under muslim ruler beforehand, the muslims living there had to leave Andalusia for many cities in Morocco, and that's when they added their own touch to the architecture of some building, but it's not spanish architecture! anyway VERY nice vlog and good luck with the rest :D
It would be better if u can be more specific, instead of muslims it would be better to use " Moroccans" because back then the Moroccan population was a mixture of Moroccan Jews, Moroccan muslims and berbers
You did a marvelous job showing this very exotic city of Fes! Felt like Raiders Of The Lost Arc! That Medina is really something else. The fountain and those tiles were mesmerizing! Like to see what the people look like and how they live! A plus on this blog! Loved it and will watch it again and again!
Your vlog is a wonderful summary of the beautiful and ancient city of Fes. We enjoyed learning about the culture and history. Your depiction of our walk through souq and meeting all the trades people was wonderful. Visiting the tanneries as well as seeing all the rugs, scarves and babouche shoes was special too. This was my second trip to Morocco and would love to return. Agree with those who commented about the quality of your videos. They get people interested in traveling and learning about cultures around the world! Keep up the good work, Run the Atlas!
