I know you'd need another two people for this idea, but how about instead of the hunter winning if the runner dies, you have two hunters and two runners one of each on a team and the winning team is the one whose runner finishes first?

I think what made this so good was Smant being so perfect with his information sharing. He always shared when he was finished a kingdom so CJ wasn't just MIA for half the video. He did hide where he was headed but that buys a few minutes at most. Kept things tense

Happy that a new video got uploaded. That brunching skip was insanely clutch, and this entire video showed me just how op the life up heart is. The number of times smallant escaped death because he had an additional 3 hearts was insane and the fact that he only lost because he forgot to get a life up heart is hilarious.
whoever edits these has earned the highest degree of respect from me for the music choice
Their different styles of panicking is hilarious in contrast.
Smant: Only occasionally panic screams, not very loud. Almost sounds slightly forced, even. Tries to stay calm and collected. Attempts to raise his morale with bluffs and bluster while psyching out the opponent.
CJ: Instant full PANIC! Loud screams announce when he has been startled or is afraid. Is a beacon of optimism and appears to enjoy the thrill of his own fear (judging by the smile frequently on his face amidst his panic moments). "NOOOO!" (When he can't or doesn't want to believe that just happened.)

would love to see the same concept but with mincap! the hunter gets the same number of captures as current mincap standard to use whenever they want. gives the hunter a slight advantage since bowser is required but you'd have to be clever to get a lot out of them which I feel like you guys excel at

That was a great video. But I think it would be more exciting if you would only get 1 or 2 healthpoint per moon/cp/heart... That wouldn't make all the interactions before seem so pointless. And maybe no warping at all.

I've seen this happen multiple times where when it's the one of the final 2 boss fights between the pink hat rabbit and the green hat one. Small ant usually dies. And because of this. I think a new rule is fair to make that the hunter cannot enter boss arenas until the last phase of the boss fight.

With all these crazy SMO challenges I've seen from you, like damageless, no jumping, being chased and all the speedruns, as well as how good and skilled you are at platforming games, I think you should try playing A Hat In Time, by Gears For Breakfast.
It's a really cool, cute and fun platformer available for the Switch with some awesome boss fights and other than the main game there are also some insane challenges, here among no hit and no jumping or limited jumping challenges in certain levels, plus the main game platforming itself is really cool.
I think you, SmallAnt Tanner, would enjoy playing A Hat In Time. And I would love to watch you play it. :)
Also the main protagonist is based as heck, which I love.

It seems like it wouldve been more fair if moons and checkpoints didnt fully heal you, or maybe making it so that you cant buy life up hearts, or making it so that cj has the same amount of health as you or maybe a bit faster than you, it seemed difficult for cj just chasing you

Man, we must talk about that, it's crazy to see that CJYA and Smallant both lost on the Harriett fight of Bowser's Kingdom, and even crazier, precisely after the first hit !
The only difference is that Smallant managed to get the protection of Harriett for the second hit, which technically makes Smallant the winner. And since he outplayed CJ, much more than CJ outplayed him, at least I think, I guess it's deserved.
What happens if Smant dies by other means, eg falling in a pit or getting stuck in lava etcc? Would that lose him the challenge as well? if so, that bruncheon-strat was extra risky

I was really sick but when I woke up to a Smallant upload made my day, love from Ontario.
Between Cjs turn and smallants it definitely seems like the topper/Harriet fight in bowser's is a hard choke point for the runner and it may need a nerf in future manhunts.
That lakitu cloud hiding in plan site power play was fucking SICK!!!
