I've been involved in classical music for over 40 years...spent six years at Juilliard and have played at various well-known venues as both a soloist, chamber music artist, and orchestral musician. I'm hearing absolutely zero music in this performance. It's a stereotypical Asian performance where the performer plays it "safe" and simply plays each note in a very clean manner but one-dimensionally. Except for a few rare exceptions, this shows that one really needs a White European spirit in order to interpret the music of the European master composers.
