It does feel like she’s grown a lot in some scenes, but I do kind of dislike how often they used *that* sprite, I always felt like it was for Remnant of Despair Mikan only and not the normal her. I don’t think they used it at all in Ultimate Talent Development Plan
@@ClassyCorgi Agreed. Overusing that sprite kinda made it lose its impact. As for Mikan acting weird, it seems to be cuz she's far more open about how she feels about nursing people in this game (namely how she does so because she has power over those who are sick; recall that it took Hajime several FTEs to reach the point of her opening up about that). It's a shame; all they needed was to have her darker sides be more discreet, like in the one with Kiyo, she should've kept her normal sprites and said things less explicitly. "Your sister is sick? U-um, I'm happy to hear you want someone like me to take care of her, so... s-so I'll do my best!" [normal Kiyo response] "Y-Yes! I promise to do my very best! I'll even nurse her forever!" [Kiyo goes ... then refuses, implying he's either felt something disturbing or knows Mikan can't save his sister as she's already dead] Here, the very last line subtly hints at an aspect of hers that many would see as a caring nurse, but given Kiyo's pursuit to see the ugly and beautiful aspects of humanity, he catches a glimpse of something disturbing. This way, Mikan can act more like herself and we can see an interesting interaction b/w her and Kiyo.
Which makes Hiyoko a massive brat to bully her. She may have developed abit, but her character didn't sit well with me. I don't like her. Mikan best girl.

She may have development after his apology, and in Danganronpa 3, she's being a little nicer Mikan, but it doesn't change the fact that she's unpleasant, spoiled and flat out cryde. One of my disliked Danganronpa characters, in my opinion.
@@puppetmon9687 If I were to design Hiyoko's character in the Non Despair AU, my version would be that while Hiyoko does have the backstory of being bullied, she would just be the type to read people before approaching them, and be generally nice deep down, not stepping on ants or flowers. She would be an genuine friend to Mikan and Ibuki seeing how nice they are, with being Mikan's comfort support. She would slowly grew to trust more characters in Danganronpa S, with Makoto, Hajime, Komaru, Kikyo and Gonta being some of her peers Hiyoko would trust the most, along with Mikan and Ibuki.
At least that makes 2 positive interactions with Masaru with an older kid. Not that it's a mystery as to why he's got a fairly rude attitude around others. On that note like chihiro it seems like at least a tiny bit Mikan has grown less shy. She still apologizes more then she needs to but is at least able to speak her opinion and have a conversation more openly then before.
I just realize something Mikan and shirokuma are a like so is it shirokuma is mikan's monokuma because it still have features of junko with the mushrooms but it looks more mikan because they have badges on their left arm act totally different when shirokuma has that bandge on its eye but if u take it off it will go bizzerk like mikan with despair disses like talking off the badge when the wound still not healed.
Arent mikan an adult to Miu that will be weird because Negi is younger than mikan because in the anime she said upper classmen to new people so Mikan is senior because they said graduation at the end of their year at hopes peak high school so negi is freshman and soo Miu is a teenager because Negi is the principal during the interviews with Dv3 danganronpa classmates.
