The EFFICIENT SWING represents my view of what a perfect golf swing would look like. It's nearly 3 HOURS of world class instruction, organized in sequential steps. Unlike other videos of mine, this one focuses much less on the pitfalls, and is instead a video about what to do as opposed to what NOT to do.
For each lesson in the video, I:
1. Teach the concept (INSTRUCTION)
2. Teach drills that emphasize that concept
3. Show video of me teaching two of my students the concept

@@RollYourRock rock, Brendan is a guy who created be better golf which monte was a frequent guest and star, and Brendan did a few shows where monte provided excellent content and golf tips for all golfers. Sadly, monte has been missing on his UA-cam shows which sucks because the two worked well together. I miss those earlier shows. Good banter amongst the two also.

@@carpomcdivot3381 Brendan seems to be a very nice, generous guy, very passionate about golf, and he likes to shine a light on different instructors and methods. I learnt a lot of stuff watching his videos. So, maybe you don't like his style of doing things, that doesn't make him a douche bag.
I like the premise, build a good golf swing based on what to do right rather than focusing on what you're doing wrong. Logically that makes sense, as if I'm to learn martial arts, I'm taught correct technique, not just told what I'm doing incorrect. That would be stupid.
All of his videos are excellent! I have Drive for Dough and the Wedge videos.....

Everytime I rewatch this I get something from it. I believe I can now get the club intro. Good position at the top. My downswing issues have always been over top/ spinning out and letting the club head overtake my body and hitting big pulls or hitting it fat by having to dump it...or occasionally slices when I subconsciously fight it and leave the face open.
3 things have helped a lot but its difficult putting them together consistently. Can you suggest an order to work on them? Or will one take care of another, or do these three things indicate a bigger issue etc?
1. Lower body key is : Left heel to the ground (or left knee towards target) to keep my lower body turning and not stalling,and getting floppy.
2. Getting my left arm down a cross my chest earlier and not getting it pinned.
3. Keeping or increasing the angle in my right wrist so I don't dump the club into the back of the ball too soon, and let it be pulled into position.

Nothing but a shameless promo for a premium ( $ ) video. Monte, you have now lost the respect you earned by your previous UA-cam videos. Fine, sell your premium videos, but don't put up a UA-cam video that is nothing but a sales ad!
Cmon man, he's always put up free content for people. What do you expect, he makes a living by teaching golfers, there's nothing wrong with selling instruction online. Other instructors charged for online lessons. It's part of the deal. Just because he wants to make money for his time doesn't mean his free content is now bad. That's ridiculous man.
