Simplicity. All those gadgets in one screen. Welcome to the future today, thanks SpaceX!
Welcome to the Future, im so Excited!
Efficiency and space management all perfected. Engineering at its finest.
@@Jonas-yt9bw have you seen how jam packed they fill the old soyuz tho?
Beautiful! It reminds me of "2001: A Space Odyssey." Godspeed, Elon.
Both parents worked on the Shuttle Program. I was sad to see it go, but I am genuinely excited to see what's going on out there now
Next level stuff. Very impressive!
Cant wait to see this in action
The inside looks like it was designed by the Tesla team.
I wonder who the CEO of Tesla is, and who the CEO of SpaceX is, damn I really wonder.
I'm looking forward to watching it launch from my house on the Space Coast.. And getting the post flight performance review..
Cool 👍👍👍 look luxury and futuristic
Looks comfortable! Seats four! Looks good! And Well Designed! Okay, I’ll take one!
They can also configure it to seat seven if necessary, but since most of these missions are going to the ISS, the extra room will be used for added cargo.
And just five days ago we've seen the Dragon with the crew being sent successfully to space, we are making major steps.
Like the 90s vibe of the design
Looks like the Bridge of the Heart Of Gold to Me. love it.
I'm all for moving forward with the tech to get us in space. BUT! Shouldn't they have analog controls as back up just in case? Its something I'm always wondering/worried about.
They do have old fashioned analog sticks and emergency buttons, they have to or else NASA wouldn't let them fly, the astronauts need to have direct control of the ship if necessary, of course the crew dragon will be fully automated and hopefully the astronauts wont need to do anything expect look at the screens for the state of the ship.
(I really hope this works)
There is a xbone controller in a hidden compartment. The crew are receiving training from 12 year olds on how to operate it
This ain't your grandfather's spaceship the tech has changed quite a bit.
Computers are quite reliable today and there is no way of flying this without the electronic systems. No doubt they have failure modes but what we do not know is what those failure modes are and how they are operated.
@@thomaswijgerse723
It is a little more complex than that.
"Manual" as in control without interference from automatic systems.
Firing the Dracos Super Dracos without coordinating with the others would be impractical so obviously you need an automated control system so you would be operating in an automatic mode the question is not if the controls are manual but how automated they are. For a space craft like this you have to have failure modes in view asking "if this(equipment, system) fails how will crew be able to salvage the situation.
Eg. What if the screens fail how do you control a space craft that does not tell you anything about its condition. Think pressure and temperature gauges, heading and altitude indicators, fuel level etc. I assume they have at least a partial solution to this.
j 'adore ..:-) est le look de la capsule vraiment futuriste , sombre , clean ...génial ,
deux écrans point , presque une navette de star trek ...:-) oui je suis fan .
Nothing will ever be as cool as the space shuttle. The simplistic look for me lacks character. Maybe im just getting old
@Dewald Jonker The last Space Shuttle mission ua-cam.com/video/LEb_7e66rVM/v-deo.html
I would love to go 👆 there to space as a passenger just to see what it feels like to have all that power under me. Those 2 brave astronauts should get a special medal made just for them just wish I was sitting beside them. May god bless a watch over you until your feet touch the land of the free and the home of the brave.
If this all works out (and right now it looks that way), they will have actual people up there..... quite a milestone that would be!
I can't believe how spacious it is. That thing's basically the size of Soyuz, but it feels a lot more open.
Touch screen displays are very difficult to operate correctly when everything is bouncing all over the place.
While thats true there really isn't anything to "operate". They hang on for the ride up and hang on for the ride back.
Everything is automated, and things are only "bouncing" during the initial takeoff.
Looks so much better than a Soyuz
Anyone else notice there was no leg support in those chairs. If an astronauts foot slips off the foot rest during launch, about 3gs at full burn, the lower leg will fold back with the crew member being unable to retrieve it due to the g forces. Could end up with a few bruises, just saying. V cool looking cabin though 👍
The crew seems really close to the screen. Let's hope it doesn't crack after stage separation.
“The stuff dreams are made of”! 2001 eat your heart out!
This video: do you want to see the seats
Me: no I just want to see the control panels and the screens
This video: okay here's how the seats look
Looks phenomensl! Unbeluevable, beautiful, fure is now!
does it have games and Netflix theater?
Parece que la estética es un factor muy tomado en cuenta en esta nave, se ve muy bien, espero que funcione igual
Stunning
Go for launch!!!!!😎
Do the people on the outer seats have any job to do or are they just along for the ride? Only the middle seats have controls.
they should layer few more things at the bottom of the screen so that there is absolutely no chance of reading it.
Touch screens seem like s bad choice ,considering high gforces /vibrations in the cabin. Would make it a nightmare trying to hit the right button. I'll give them credit through, it looks as you would expect for 2019 not 1960
Yeah I am sure they didn't think of that on a multi million vehicle that's going to space...
Andrew Grace vehicle is completely automated, but there are manual controls if necessary.
The Gforce is only that bad while in earths atmosphere I think, so I don’t think that’s that big of a problem
Looks like the inside of a Tesla Model 3 with White interior
Fantastic!
Way nicer then the cramped soyuz craft.
it remembers me to origin jumpworks ships from star citzen
For some reason I prefer the Soyuz but this looks sick
Very nice!
Elon Stark
I'm confused- it says "Started streaming on Feb 21, 2019" i'm making this comment at T-05:00ish but the launch window doesn't start for another 45 min???

they should put stage 1 telemetry info up when they are showing stage 1 coming back.
Where is the toilet?
@@MIck-M with all the clean white design, i would be nervous af to eat anything (not even with ketchup) inside Dragon2.
im not sure if theres a toilet in it, I know the shuttle had a pretty big toilet, but on gemini/apollo they peed/pooped in plastic bags. crew dragon is quite big though, so I wouldnt be surprised if they had toilet in there.
Prothean Relics here we come to MARS !
Fancy!
my alarm is set for 7am uk. wonder if it has mood lighting? bit of barry white n smooth hues of colour......
very good
Is this the real life or is it fantasy?
Its real - and tomorrow it will go to ISS, but without Crew. That will be later this year...
it seems the seating padding should have been thicker to reduce the G force, and just for fun they should have sent a alien dummy instead of a human one on this flight but it is good to see America back in the transport of men back in space .....USA
I would like to see how it would look with all the chairs in it, its supposed to be able to fit 7 astronauts
That’s nothing, it was supposed to land on land, on legs, without parachutes.
Hey it did it!
Soooo where is the onboard toilet?
Is there no sound?
@Ink_25 No sound, to avoid complaints ua-cam.com/video/_bOtEEn_ljU/v-deo.html
@@SciNewsRo Ah, I see. Idk what all the commentors have, porn music is way better than none, haha ❤️
Keep up with the great content!
Well said, 👏👏
"4k UHD" yet no sound...?
These large white panels look like a huge canvas desperately waiting for an artist to use them.
SpaceX needs to invite artists to use them and help give each dragon capsule a personality.
Howell..
I want one of those seats for my racing simulator...
É o futuro
Elon Musk Is My Hero
atlast hollywood in real life
Looks like a sci fi movie
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Faces are too close to the screens. They look kind of awkward pressing the button s. Also spacecraft should have tactile buttons as pressing a touch screen would be impossible during strong vibrations.
They are engineers. They know what they are doing. Vibrations are very low on this vehicle. Wont be a problem. The seats can move up or down closer or further away from the screen.
Es un soyuz con tv de plasma y PS4 integrado
maybe their engineers have thought this through, but what if those touch screen's glass is broken
Don't forget your lock screen passcode!
I wanna join the crew
Is seats 4 just like my honda civic
It's awesome but jeez... They should at least have a couple of hand controllers and an abort button or something.
They do have an abort button that does much more than just abort... in case of rocket malfunction, they can eject the Crew Dragon Craft and land safely... Elon thought of everything Scientists and Engineers didn't in decades of space flight.
Where is Spock? 😁
*_very_* different from the soyuz!
No sound = fail
A lot more classy than the soyuz capsule. Just need to make sure it's as safe.
Well the way things are now is that it's docked to the ISS. Hopefully they can return it safely as well. If that works too, then they will send actual humans in the Dragon to the ISS. Major project this, deserves a lot more media coverage.
I wonder if they can play Angry Birds on these screens
I'd much rather have real buttons than a touch screen if I'm wearing gloves.
Yeah I am sure they didn't think of that on a multi million vehicle that's going to space...
there's really not a lot that the astronauts do once the launch gets going, so there's really no need for a lot of controls. Almost everything is automated.
Really, I kinda want to call bull shit. Just looks like wasted space in there.
What luxury. Lol
Enjoy the silence!
Those seats looks like huge evil faces with horns on the top
