This performance is just magical.. It's not usual Celine (Huge notes and dancing) but this performance is not just a perfect example of her technical skills but the pure beauty of her voice.. It's like fresh, first morning of summer, the smell of sea and new leaves, blue blue sky with soft little clouds and the sound of little children playing with laughter and joy :) Amazing Celine!
that's right! people who say or even think that Celine is arrogant , that person obviously knows nothing about her. She's such a generous lady ! I salute for being so kind and understanding for everything ! The singer I've ever seen in my life !
This performance is truly stunning. It's always difficult to cover a well known and well loved song without the big chance of ruining it or falling under immense scrutiny but Celine not only showed courage by performing it at the Grammy's but she absolutely nailed this song to the wall. She looked beautiful and delivered a flawless effort, the band did a great job with the music as well.
Celine did this song justice! Awesome! A great voice - she doesn't even have to hit the high notes to know that she is a true artist - absolutely one of the top best singers of this world!
What I love about Celine, is she has NOTHING to prove. She is arguably the BEST SINGER ALIVE TODAY and yet she doesn't need to add all these crazy riffs that we all know she can do EFFORTLESSLY and FLAWLESSLY. But if the song doesn't call for it, she won't do it. She RESPECTS each song. Something that too many singers don't do. Christina Aguilera could take some advice from Celine.

i was a teen when this song came out by Janis Ian i think it speaks for all that did not fit in as a teen. Celine knocks it out of the park with this one it tugs at my heart and brings back memeories
It doesn`t matter what she sings, or what she produces, it always sound fantastic. What a talent she has, and she stays a down to earth women, with her ups and downs and struggles. What a beautifull woman she is.
She is truly an icon. Her brilliance is shown time and time again. She surrounds herself with the best musicians in the industry. Luckily some of them are in her own family. The trumpet player in this tune is remarkable - class blowin' that brass! Her rendition of this song is right on the mark as she, herself, has commented time and time again, that she lived this song growing up..... AND NOW WHO IS THE SWAN? I myself, lived this song and later when I came of age I became a hat and hand model in the mid to late 70's.

Ha! I had no idea until now that Celine, one of my favourite singers, actually introduced the nomination of one of my other favourite singers. Who actually didn't need to trust Celine on it as she already had won 22 Grammys at that time. And ended up making it a total of 27 by the end of those Grammy Awards

This performance is just magical.. It's not usual Celine (Huge notes and dancing) but this performance is not just a perfect example of her technical skills but the pure beauty of her voice.. It's like fresh, first morning of summer, the smell of sea and new leaves, blue blue sky with soft little clouds and the sound of little children playing with laughter and joy :) Amazing Celine!

It's always difficult to cover a well known and well loved song without the big chance of ruining it or falling under immense scrutiny but Celine not only showed courage by performing it at the Grammy's but she absolutely nailed this song to the wall. What I love about Celine, is she has NOTHING to prove. She is arguably the BEST SINGER ALIVE TODAY and yet she doesn't need to add all these crazy riffs that we all know she can do EFFORTLESSLY and FLAWLESSLY. But if the song doesn't call for it, she won't do it. She RESPECTS each song. Something that too many singers don't do. Christina Aguilera could take some advice from Celine.

She is truly an icon. Her brilliance is shown time and time again. She surrounds herself with the best musicians in the industry. Luckily some of them are in her own family. The trumpet player in this tune is remarkable - class blowin' that brass! Her rendition of this song is right on the mark as she, herself, has commented time and time again, that she lived this song growing up..... AND NOW WHO IS THE SWAN? I myself, lived this song and later when I came of age I became a hat and hand model in the mid to late 70's.
