Its called as engine gas recirculation. Certain amount of burnt gas from the engine is diverted back to the engine instead of pushing it away through the exhaust. Egr delete means cutting this process and making sure only fresh air gets to the engine and used gases are completely pushed out

Also to add in…I drove my Gt Tdi from Pune to Rajasthan and back to Pune for a trip. Bone stock on 205/45/r17 and was able to get 31kmpl on highways at 90kmph Cruising and around 23-24 at crowded areas. I was planning to go for a Code6 Stage 1. As u know a lot about the car, would u recommend me to do it or shall i keep it bone stock.
How was the performance? If u feel the pickup has dropped, or if u want more power from ur car, then go for a tune. Else let it be as it is now And thanks alot for ur feedback. Will improve in upcoming vids😄
Nice and straight to the point video brother. I think the error might be due to the Tyre and wheel size difference. Usually there is a speedometer error if we swap out the wheels to a higher radius and since you have jumped up by 2", it should be the reason for it. Nevertheless, it is a good mileage considering you traversed through Chinniyampalayam. Coimbatore la irkavangaluku theriyum how hectic it is to go from Nilambur to there and return during the evenings. So, mileage might have taken a hit there. I own a stage 3 setup in the same car and gives solid 20+ (kmpl) on highways (tank to tank checked), and 10-15 kmpl in City depending on traffic conditions. 6th gear iruntha ivana adichuka aaley ila. I just got my polo gt tsi 2015 stage 2 remap done Map installed of atm. With full system exhaust But i can’t feel power,is it normal that no change can be felt in power after stage 2 remap?
Before s1 tune, on stock 15” wheels i used to get the same mileage. Around 16-17. Then you may ask whats the difference? Well bigger wheels, and more power
