I’ve officially never hated a quest more than this one in the entire game. I try to lure them away one at a time and literally every single one of them comes rushing.

I literally ran away when the ruin hunter woke up. I fucking hate Ruin hunters, for me. Ruin hunters are harder then Ruin guards. Ruin guards are easy as hell for me but.. Ruin Hunters are just... I hate them.

Alr everyone, a bit of advice for this quest. when you're at the stairs theres a mountain to your right. Climb the mountain and snipe the ruin hunter with a bow user. When the ruin hunter uses its long range attack (signaled by an x it makes with its arms and its eye glowing) aim for its eye to disable it. Use this time to heal and keep shooting at it. It'll take a while but keep repeating this and you'll get rid of it. When you manage to kill the ruin hunter, go in and kill the remaining abyss mages and hilichurls. You can use a cryo user for the hydro mage and a pyro user for the cryo mage.
by the way , in case you are still struggling, when i did this quest there was rain , so i got lucky and i had to just freeze rune hunter with my kaeya and it made things 10 times more easier
Mine was at 30% I was on top of the mountain thingy to the left of the stairs, it got stuck in a place where I couldn’t aim at it, so I jumped down… *✨Everyone in my team DIED✨*
@@LesbianImpact I did that way (attacking from the mountain with bow), patiently aiming with only 200 damage output lmao, but in the end the ruin hunter dead. the mage abbys was easy using pyro characters. I finally finished it
@Jean and Zhongli Shipper I literally got a few inazuma characters unexpected and now I have to do this mfing quest in order to get to inazuma and ascend them.💀
If anyone is still struggling, here's what I did to clear this fight. If you defeat one abyss mage and go to the statue of seven to heal then that mage won't respawn again (unless you have several days of gap in between) use that to your advantage. What I did was, I climbed to the highest part in the right side of mountains after you climb the stairs and then flew inside the tower located nearby the mages and ruin hunter. If you go inside that tower, it will protect you from most of the attacks and you can also dodge, the roof will also protect you from the missiles and you will have plenty of time to heal. I used the tower to defeat one mage, teleported to heal and directly defeated another mage without the tower and the rest was easy :)
This quest legit brought me to tears after weeks of trying. I'm not even to Inazuma yet but my friend who just started genshin 3 months after me is already there. Thank you for this
Best guide.... this helped me so much. Luckily for me it started raining when I started fighting the Ruin Hunter and I had 2 electro characters in my party (Keqing and Fischl) so it was wayyy easier
Smth you can do is if you have Xiangling you should use Guoba on the hydro abyss mage, it wont break the shield but Guoba will light fire to the grass which does break the shield, if you dont have Xiangling then you can use Any pyro character, leveling them up isnt too important, but its better, easier and quicker if you do You should always have a shield character to protect you and your team If youre using Traveler I think Geo traveler works best, that INCLUDES the constellations. My traveler was able to do 4k damage cuz of it Also even if you die but still kill any of the enemies they wont respawn, so even if you die when killing an enemy dont worry because they will not respawn after you revive. For instance I killed all the hilichurls and died, when I came back they were gone, and vice versa for each enemy Yea thats pretty much abt it, good luck to all

It’s too far up for the ruin hunter to see you~~ and then after defeating the ruin hunter i defeated the abyss mages.~~ great tips in this video :) what a difficult quest this is.
As I was shooting at him I managed to paralyze him after like 20 hits but he somehow ended up getting stuck behind a wall and remained paralyzed so I practically got a free kill lmao

helllla helpful😭 sometimes i’ll kill a few and then teleport when my health is low so i dont lose burst and then teleport back and it gets easier everytime basically
@@thextremekittenmdj it resets if you didn’t kill them,but if they already died than when you come back only the ones you haven’t killed will be there(if that made sense)

I took out the Ruin Hunter first with Fischl to paralyze and Keqing as the main dps and then wiped out the rest without worrying about the attacks of the Ruin Hunter, in case this helps anyone. I lured the hunter out of the area, otherwise I would have been bubbled and frozen so many times lol
@@barbarasupremacy4488 not the best tbh. I don’t really “build” my characters. I’m F2P so I don’t have many good artifacts. I use artifacts that have CRIT and ATK for the most part. I think I have gladiators for Keqing and berserker for Fischl
i used used a mix of ganyu, beidou, and qiqi. i had sucrose as well but i didn't really use her at all. qiqi for healing, ganyu for main DPS with her bow, beidou with her thick claymore to smash the abyss mages to death. i recommend finding a good, sheltering spot to fight the ruin hunter. i went up to the closest mountain right beside the place and bought it that way. it was a good sheltering spot and plently of distance from it that i could avoid the major hits. unless you have a really good defense character, i wouldn't stay too close to the hunter unless you wanna die instantly. the big explosive things it shoots out are deadly --and will take out half your characters health in a matter of seconds

I died and all of them respawned with full health always when I came back 🤨

hoyoverse shouldn't stack ruin hunters with other enemies in a low level quest. Its like expecting Shenhe to eat a banquet.
I did this quest by climbing on the mountain in the rain then shooting down on everyone with Ganyu :)

The way I beat the robot dude is by using barbara then kaeya, and it froze him. I then attacked using kaeyas sword and that helped me a lot

This is the quest that's keeping me from inazuma
I took out the Ruin Hunter first with Fischl to paralyze and Keqing as the main dps and then wiped out the rest without worrying about the attacks of the Ruin Hunter, in case this helps anyone. I lured the hunter out of the area, otherwise I would have been bubbled and frozen so many times lol
This is hard for me because my characters are so low-leveled 😂
My Keqing was 67 at the time of the quest and my Fischl is 40

@@barbarasupremacy4488 not the best tbh. I don’t really “build” my characters. I’m F2P so I don’t have many good artifacts. I use artifacts that have CRIT and ATK for the most part. I think I have gladiators for Keqing and berserker for Fischl

i used used a mix of ganyu, beidou, and qiqi. i had sucrose as well but i didn't really use her at all. qiqi for healing, ganyu for main DPS with her bow, beidou with her thick claymore to smash the abyss mages to death. i recommend finding a good, sheltering spot to fight the ruin hunter. i went up to the closest mountain right beside the place and bought it that way. it was a good sheltering spot and plently of distance from it that i could avoid the major hits. unless you have a really good defense character, i wouldn't stay too close to the hunter unless you wanna die instantly. the big explosive things it shoots out are deadly --and will take out half your characters health in a matter of seconds
