So easy to understadn! thanks for making my life as a beginner composer easier!!!
Glad I could be of help 😀
You’ve been a huge inspiration to me since I picked up the French horn in 2019. I’m now a young adult looking to go to a conservatory playing horn as my main job. I and many more love your work! Keep doing what you’re doing, and never forget how much a single person can do such as you.
Thank you very much, comments like yours certainly mean a lot to me 🙏
You are as talented as a musician, translator, polyglot or composer... even youtuber! TREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES FORMIDAAAABLEEEEEEEE! 你太厉害朋友!Abrazo enorme desde Argentina!
Great video. Very succinct and easy to understand about a topic I didn't know anything about! Lovely job.
Thank you ! Glad you liked it :)
thank you for explaining, I love learning new things especially about music and movies also it is nice to hear your voice as well!
Very interesting, thank you for explaining!
Fascinating👍🏻🤩
Здравствуйте Марк, спасибо вам за ваше творчество. ❤
Great video. Although I already knew about it. Therefore, I just want to add my personal impressions. These cues numbers cause me some aesthetic pleasure. Looking at scores, I really like to see not only the name of the piece, but also its number. I don't think that it can be explained logically and that someone will be able to understand me, but these numbers are very beautiful (1m1, 1m1REV, 1m1a, 1m1v1)
some can be crazy though, I saw one that's "lr111g cf908 911"
Well I totally understand that ! There's a certain beauty to it 🙂
Very Interesting!
Very interesting, I didn't know that. Glad you made this video and I'm looking forward to more videos like this :)
Glad you liked it Melissa !
Excellent info!
Whoa! Marc joining in on educational/explainer videos!? I'm in! I found a clip that showed a cue "lr111g cf908 911" from the Hobbit that I still have no idea what it stands for
he clearly must do more, but it's a fight (lol) about this point with me and him since the first day i know him lol help me to convince him to do more of them !! what about one about "who is Marc Papeghin ?"
@@DidierMartini absolutely! I've learned little bits and pieces over the last decade. Hey Marc, wanna do an interview?
You'll have to be strong and persuasive, good luck lol !@@AndrewMerideth
@@DidierMartini thanks, we shall see
I'll think about it 😁
As for those Hobbit cryptic cue names, I've seen them too ! And I have absolutely no idea what they refer to ^^
The LOTR scores also had similar stuff, like "d811h cf813 D b203-261"...go figure what that means 😛
Very interesting. Thank you!
😊MARC! Please forgive me for mentioning something. In the first seconds of the video, you said a word which has a subtle difference in English. It is the word "SHEET". Through no fault of your own, it sounded like another word. That word is "sh_t". It is a common thing that happens all of the time, even with people from my own native country of Cuba. Please be sure, if it's OK with you, to pronounce "sheet" with a LONG E sound like in MEAT. Thanks for reading and THANK YOU for this great video! ♥♥♥♥
Haha tiene razón !! I know that subtle difference indeed changes the meaning of that word ^^
It's just that when you speak quickly sometimes certain words don't come out exactly the way they're supposed too 😛
Pero gracias por su comentario 🙂
Con mucho gusto, y me alegro que no se ofendió! ♥@@Marc_Papeghin
Increíble de verdad. Gracias por el aporte. Super interesante.
Gracias 🙏
Amazing! But where did you get original scores or at least the scans?
Thanks to have talked about our first album lol 🤣🤣
A 4-min ad, pretty cool right !! 😁
Let's put a link for the project here while we're at it 😃

and for the curious, here is the link to 1M2 and 1M3 which are free on youtube ! For people who love Marc as a drummer (any ?) it's the best ! He plays drums (and even more !) on ALL THE TUNES !!

More seriously , nice video, i even learned some stuff (no kidding !!). you must do more of these videos !
so how exactly are reel numbers measured nowadays? is it by increments of 10-20 minutes or is it by scene numbers or act numbers?
I think they still use the 10-20 minute "imaginery" reel concept !
@@Marc_Papeghin cool thanks for replying!
first!
