Trio madjesi collapsed because leadership was in the trio. There was no leader. The other bands you you have mentioned had single leaders. Tabu Ley with Africa. Verckys with Veve, Franco with TP OK Jazz, etc. And with these bands that stood the test of time, the leader literally owned the band.
