Im somewhat confused. Where did you get the 1.5? Is it because it's half of the height, 3? So does that mean if i want to make a 14x12x4 box. One side would measure 4+14+4 and the other 4+12+4+12+2? I say 2 and not 1.5 because wouldnt you want front pocket to be in the middle? Or just universally use 1.5? Also, the other measurements would be 2 because its half of the height, 4? The one that confuses me is the flap that comes with the lid. Did you measuring 3 inches down because thats the height or because its half of 6? Thank you. Hope this makes sense.
The flap in front of the box really depends to your preferred length. It can be half of the height of the box or shorter. But for 4" height 1.5" length of flap still proportioned so you can still make it 1.5". Hope I made it clear to you 😊 thank you for watching

Yes you can do that if the same size you want to make. But if you want to customize the size of the box to fit for your product, then this is how to do.

If your decoration is only icing the LxWxH can be 12x9x3 in. but if you are using standee for the theme you can make 12x9x4 in.
