Just found your wonderful channel. May I suggest the E. E. (Doc) Smith stories "Subspace Explorers" and "Subspace Encounter"? They are excellent fun, and I have not been able to find them in audiobook format. Thanks for these excellent stories!
Glad to have you! I'm pretty sure the reason why you haven't found those stories is because they're not yet in the public domain, which is a shame. Looks like Subspace Explorers was written in 1965 so might enter public domain next year. I'll keep an eye on it!
Glad you liked it! There are a bunch of different apps that can do this - I was using the online Office tool because I needed to capture images of the words in a particular way. However, it was very time consuming - there are much quicker and easier ways of colouring the words. english.edward.io/ is an example. Hope that helps!
Hi - I have been on YT for years , of course except for the radio programs ( Dimension X and X-1), and Ray Bradbury, I have not been able to find a decent sci-fi reader or channel - very frustrating! So, thank you ever so much. I don’t know how long you’ve been on YT, but with all the short stories I listen, I’m amazed I’m only finding you now! Subscribing and looking forward to more. ✨🛰️🌔🪐🚀 Is Joan C. Vinge in public domain yet? Her short stories are outstanding! Have a great day from New York. 🙂🌷🌱
Thanks for the lovely words. As far as I can tell, her stories are not yet in the public domain, I'm afraid, and likely won't be for quite some years. A shame!
“Man of Distinction” was brilliant! You have a great talent for choosing worthwhile stories to narrate. Thanks again!
Thanks for listening! Fortunately there are a lot of stories to choose from and I can pick the ones I like best.
Thanks ❤
And here I had given up on finding any worthwhile science fiction I hadn't already read years ago. You have wonderful stuff!
Glad you're finding some new ones!
These stories were really good and enjoyable. finally, a person who reads sci-fi and fantasy so well!! thanks so much :) 🌺

Wish I'd found you last year but better late than never. Very much enjoying your readings and selections. Thank you.
Welcome!
I’ve listened to a lot of vintage sci-fi but most of your narrations are new to me. Thanks
Thanks for listening, I'm glad you can discover some new ones!
I love UK narrators and the accent!!! ❤

Great video, thanks!
PS: What software do you use to change the color of the words,
based on Verbs, Pronouns and Adjectives?

Man of distiction.... Great story. I laughed My ... off anyways
Glad you liked it!
Very interesting, your thought process is different from norm.
Thanks! Glad you found the stories interesting.
Unfortunately I had press dislike for this set of stories as it is on my you tube recommendations every day.
Thats not the videos fault, your disliking s video for a stupid reason.
Lose the UK narrators and their annoying accents,
Oooh 😮 …. What is your accent, or don’t you have one? 😉
Day took arr jobs!!
What a hateful thing to say.
Reader was well paced, clear, and accent pleasant. Good job IMHO.
Better than all the Yankee drawl on UA-cam. They can’t read English properly
