I'm a Muslim and I feel at peace as equally listening to the Torah recitation as the Quran Recitation, the words of God regardless of the holy book is beautiful

I am Muslim and I give an applause for this recitation it's really beautiful and it similar as QURAN.

It isn't similar to Quran because Torah has been interpulated ...
If there were real Torah it would be far much more inspirational..
We Muslim believe Torah is also word of Allah...

@@moinalimoinali8859 It can be said that the Torah is corrupted if and only if it is compared to the original Torah given to Moses by HaShem. The G-d of Judaism is the unutterable Tetragrammaton or YHVH with its unique sound and unique meaning that on being pronounced invokes the divine presence that no other name can do. Only a handful of Jewish mystics know Its correct pronunciation. In Hebrew, alah that closely resembles allah means a curse or a false oath. Copying a few passages from our Tanakh or Hebrew Bible, mangling them and adding them to a pile of alien teachings does not make Islam or Christianity a part of Judaism. Muhammed and Jesus do not qualify as prophets according to the strict definition of prophethood laid out by the Torah.

Rabbi Weisblum is an extraordinary Rabbi. He offers his keen insights supported by both halachic and secular sources. While the breadth of his knowledge is apparent, I especially appreciate his lucid writing which makes his thoughts readily understandable. Kudos.

@@13loodLust Muslims are not children of Abraham because Ishmael the castout is not the father of the Arabs. Arabs predate Abraham. Besides, Ishmael mingled with his mother's pagan relatives after HaShem ordered Abraham to cast out Hagar and Ishmael. Torah describes Ishmael as a donkey of a man whose hand will be on everyone and everyone's hand would be on him. Ishmaelites and Kedarites were sworn enemies of the Israelites. Christianity supposedly was initiated by a descendant of Esau who bitterly opposed his brother Yakov.

I like this recitation better than others. As a Muslim, it's interesting noticing some similarities in cadence of recitation with some of the spiritual connection buried within the Torah. Most other Torah recitations sound more mechanical compared to yours. Judaism as it has developed (or at least my knowledge of it) is a very academic and technical religion from my understanding. What do you feel when reciting the Torah and is it recited often?

Hey I just have a question. Is the hebrew in the torah the same as the hebrew that today's israelis speak? Like the Arabic in the quran, is very different than the Arabic that most Arabs speak today. Thank you

    • @mosheweisblum3450
      @mosheweisblum3450  7 років тому +4

Thank you for you question. Modern Israeli Hebrew is surprisingly similar to Biblical Hebrew. Similarities include: the alphabet, most basic words and the fact that they usually don't use vowels. However, as Biblical Hebrew is actually many dialects of Hebrew there are some differences:
      - Fewer sounds (vowels and consonants) - Ancient Hebrew differentiated more carefully between vowel sounds. - -
      - Grammar - A fairly big difference is that ancient Hebrew used verb tenses differently, with a richer range of
      options.
      - Israeli words for modern technology - Israeli Hebrew has both invented and borrowed words from other languages
to describe new technology and modern scholarship.
      - Writing: cursive and typefaces - Israeli Hebrew has more writing styles, including modern typefaces (eg. fonts)
      and a cursive handwritten style.

Appreciate your reply but like the other person said, modern day arabic grammar and writing is identical to that in the Qur'an, in fact the Qur'an is literally the basis for all modern day writing and grammar. However, spoken arabic varies very differently in the different regions of Arabia, not in sounds and alphabet, but rather in just vocabulary.
