He clearly meant that the characters became a couple on the 20th episode, not he and Demet, it doesn't make sense for him to say it now, after both of them denied it and he said just a week ago that he isn't going to talk about his personal life, when was asked about her in a street interview 👍
Pink Mojo it’s just a pity that media can make it sound something other than what it actually is. Clearly Can referred to the 20th episode because they became a couple on screen, nothing more, nothing less.

Why he suddenly said all this when couple of weeks ago in another interview he said he doesn't like talking about his & Demot's relationship as it's private. I personally don't believe he said this, I will save my judgement until I see the interview. Maybe he might've said something along the line and was talking about the romance/relationship in EK but as usual the media twisted it and this is the outcome...

@@pinkmojo7482 I totally agree. He got the episode number wrong. Can & Sanem became lovers in episode 23 and from then on referred to each other as beloved. There is no way that Can suddenly would divulge their private life with that answer. This is after just saying in his last interview that he'll keep the private matters between him & Demet to himself. I've never seen an actor dragged so much for everything they say or don't say. Its unreal.
I would really love to see this famous and talented Turkish actor and actress finally making it count as a couple. And it would be really interesting to watch them act side by side in future romantic or family movies..

One thing why i like the Erkenci kuz, the story is very good, smooth, no violation, the moral of the story is good, its very positive series, love, compassion, family oriented, obedience, forgiveness, thats whole package of the story, because we are very tired of what waching currents events, news,, killing, climate change, misunderstanding country by country, corruption, hungers, thats why when watch good shows or series, like EK, its good,, apart from the problems of every coutry, we can watch atleast a good shows, in other country,, so be proud of it, be appreciated.. I've never seen such behavior! After all, the reporter who interviewed him understood exactly what he meant to say, both about Demet and about the "Libido", even if Can did not choose the right words, it is still perfectly clear to any reasonable person what he meant to say. The reporter could write the word Chemistry instead of Libido and that the characters became a couple in episode 20 and not the actors because that is what Can actually said, but he chose to present things like that, because of greed !!! Desde luego, en Dolunay, rian de rian, y en Inadina Ask (que son las que he visto), un poco mejor que en Dolunay pero porque la trama era mas apropiada. Cómo en E.K. no lo ha habido. De hecho él ha dicho en España que la novela que va a hacer después del servicio militar también tiene amor, pero que la novela de amor ya se hizo (entiendo que la GRAN novela de AMOR), y la siguiente será una más (más o menos eso vino a decir)

Es una entrevista y como tal pacta las preguntas y contesta si quiere o no ( como ha hecho hasta ahora) yo la he visto entera traducida y no entiendo si va por el personaje o la persona..la lanza al aire sin más, no especifica si habla de Demet o Sanem..y creo que tonto no es..quiero decir que en cierta manera ya le está bien que se hable. Ha estado en españa, italia, grecia..y han hecho entrevistas y no ha entrado en estos temas ni se le ha preguntado. This is like playing the broken telephone game, so much is lost in translation. From what I understood of the interview CY gave, he meant that a certain level of attraction is important between series co-stars. Without this attraction things tend to fall flat and then he made an example between him and his former co-star. He goes on to say he and Demet were compatible in this regard. How did you get words such as "snob" or him disrespecting her "honour"? *smh*

IF there's any truth to this latest faux pas, it's so sad on so many levels. It's embarrassing for Mr. Yaman because he has always been seen as a "polite, humble, gentleman" to his fans and for him to talk about this now or ever in public is inappropriate. And it is devastating to Ms. Ozdemir and her reputation...Based on the Erkenci Kus series, (the first half) to the public it sure looked like it was possible that these two remarkable actors with such on screen chemistry maybe did actually fall in love for real... but you can tell something changed in the second half of the series...the chemistry was gone. So did it have to do with the series or did it have to do with something on a personal level...nobody will ever know...why? Because it's not the "our" business, they are entitled to their privacy or at least should be entitled to it.
In one of his other interviews, he said he has never found love... I think he did find it and I think he lost it (her) and he don't know how to deal with it. I think fame got in the way and I also think that same fame is now destroying him...

I enjoyed the shows, laugh smile & happy, can't wait for any surprises in each show. Demet stole the shows, remind us of Jeniffer Aniston & Meg Ryan, pure, smart beautiful & insane. These series became one of the best foreign series for me. Beautiful people, beautiful film, beautiful scenery, full of energy, funny, learn a lot about Turkish culture & tradition. I think both leading actress & actor have a very good chemestry from episode 1 till the end following the stories.
@@kristinayuliani2748, Your so right. Erkenci Kus was also my first Turkish series, for me it was Can's unique style and Demot's funny acting that got me to watch it. I accidentally fell upon it...watched couple of their song video clips and was so intrigued by what "Sanem" was up to, acting funny, she had me in fits of laughter from first episode. Ek was fantastic show but it had some downsides too, weak storylines ,how Can & Sanem often break up and get back together, hence why people started turning off from it. It's a shame though as they had the perfect opportunity to make EK into an even more fantastic show. They had the perfect supporting casts, perfect leading characters, Can & Sanem, but unfortunately the script let them down badly especially towards the end. And in my opinion they had wonderful chemistry from episode 1, but unfortunately towards the end specially from episode 46 even tha was somewhat missing. Your right about Demot stole the show, I felt that too, especially in the last episode , she was a natural to the best. A true professional actress. 😊😊

@@lovelyworld7709 Hmm...maybe. But we don't actually know if the others were asked and they turned it down. Maybe they've already moved on to other projects hence why they can't take part in this tour of promoting Ek? We don't know what happened in the holiday with Can, Demot and their producer Farouq. Who knows what was discussed/agreed or not agreed....between the three of them. In my opinion, I think Farouq felt guilty as Can missed out on a big project "Osman" as he was contracted to EK, and then Ek was cancelled. So maybe Farouq felt obliged to do this tour for Can? 🤷♀️
Not only that Can can't commit to any new projects at the moment as he's going to military training in January so starting anything new will be pointless. He has time on his hands at the moment hence why all this club visiting, touring, interviews etc.....
I'm sure it will all calm down when he gets back from his military training and starts working on his new project. 😊
If theres no confirmations about their relationship Can yaman and demet, why just can leave it that way, because if they admitted that they become lovers, many question will come out again, why they apart? Why demet didn't come with Can yaman on his out of counties? If you watch back that episode you'll see that they were broke up. Oh yes Sanem and Can were in love throughout the whole series and he said that it was easy to play because they were in love. The truth is that these actors and we can say this about te minority of actors are miserable in their personal lives. They destroy each other emotionally. Playing with each other. You know you can not play with fire without getting burned. I watched Erkenci Kus because I thought that I'd found something real, not because of myself, but for them. But it seems I was very naiv and I will never watch them or any other series again.

No se malinterprete. Can se refiere a la quimica en el set de lls protagonistas Sanem y Can Divid que parecia real y que jugaron muy bien. El no dice que hubo relacio entre Can Yaman y Demet Özdemir. Por dios nunca dijo eso. Dijo que Can Divid y Sanem ll hicieron tan real que lo creimos y por esa quimica sublime que hubo entre ellos. Que Demet no es ninguna snok. Ella es discreta y está trabajando sin parar y se merece todo el respeto, está callada y no se expone a los medios. Al final Can cada día está en las portadas, se promociona muy bien y naturalmente la prensa necesita titulares. Si el no se expone, esto no pasaría, pero claro, tampoco sería tan popular, el tiempo dirá si esto le perjudica o no, pero Demet es una gran persona en todos los sentidos y espero que esto no le haga daño.

Yo sigo creyendo en esta pareja. Sigo diciendo y creyendo que Can no la ha olvidado. I think that Can Yaman he is missing Demet. I believe as a fan that they both will be together again. If they both except that they are souls to be together than the time will come. Si de verdad hubiese empezado a trabajar como Demet todo lo que está pasando viajes entrevistas críticas comentarios diferentes salidas mujeres etc. Todo esto no habría pasado.
