    Ima explain this to non-equestrians ❤️ The horse isn’t in pain, that saddle pad is made to take the impact, it’s basically like exercising a horse, we call it lunging, anyways, the horse is extremely desensitised, so it doesn’t give a crap. This rider isn’t to heavy and is very well balanced, and the horse isn’t forced to do this. Animals don’t have voices, unless it’s in clear pain, or you can read body language, don’t say the horse is in pain. Anyways bai❤

      learned helplessness, every bit is causing pain (which they’re designed to do, proven by many studies and common sense really) but the horse just accepts it after a while. but yea, she isn’t hurting the horse much, might be a little annoying to have someone all over you but i highly doubt she’s heavy enough to hurt the horse

      @@Eeee-xl4xb yes, it would be quite annoying to have people shuffling around on your back, but as long as the vaulters are doing it correctly it shouldn’t hurt the horse ❤️❤️❤️

    The horses are trained and ready to go. It’s like lunging to them, except with a human on it. It’s in the correct frame. Don’t assume a vaulter doesn’t know what she’s doing just because she is jumping on the horses spine.

      This horse is constantly behind the vertical. Pause the clip and draw a straight line 90° with the ground and it is 100% behind it.

    If this horse was in pain it would buck her off. If this horse was in pain it would be stressed. If this horse was in pain they would be rearing. If this horse was in pain it would not go in that circle. If this horse was in pain it would pin it’s ears back. If this horse was in pain you could see it in it’s eyes. If this horse was in pain, IT WOULD NOT ACT LIKE THIS!

      Da keines dieser Zeichen vorhanden war is die Wahrscheinlichkeit groß dass die Junge Frau anständig gelandet ist und sie weiss wie man Schmerzen für's Pferd vermeidet.
      Aber wie bei allem: Wenn man's übertreibt kann alles schlecht sein. Auch richtig landen hilft da nicht viel wenn man es zu oft macht.

    It's painful to see the horse in such discomfort. Can't lift his head because it's almost glued to his chest with the tie downs attached to metal bit causing pain. The animal is forced to endlessly run in a small circle. Awful. The main lady did the amazing job but it's just hard to focus on her.

    • @user-bi4lz8fc5u
      @user-bi4lz8fc5u Рік тому +24

      Have you seen dressage? This horse is not in any discomfort and it isn’t ‘forced’ to canter in the circle. This horse could easily buck, bolt off, or rear if it so chooses. This horse isn’t hyperflexed or stiff

    • @XxBlueEyedxX
      @XxBlueEyedxX Рік тому +11

      @@user-bi4lz8fc5u What people often don't see: vaulting is only a tiny aspect of the lives of those horses (IF they don't belong to some shady club but tbh, I don't know any of them in my area), and most training doesn't even happen on horseback. Vaulting horses have special training that makes it possible for them to have people doing tricks on their backs without ruining them, and it doesn't mean "running in circles" for countless hours.

      A wonderful performance by the woman/girl. But I agree it's not nice to see the horse galloping in a circle all the time,not even possible to lift his head. But I think this is not the problem,the problem is that in dressage horses get pulled by their riders into Rollkur and judges give the many points for that. If your not possible to change that you can't change this either.

    This is BAD! Horse is held in a constant restrictive frame whilst a human leaps on its spine. Humans wake up! Horses were not put on this earth to be treated in this manner!

    • @tiernyjasmine8678
      @tiernyjasmine8678 Рік тому +6

      The horse is in the correct frame. Not overbent or anything and not a harsh bit. The horse looks relaxed, he is trained for this and the vaulter obviously knows what she is doing. There is lots of padding on the horses back to prevent discomfort and injury. You clearly don't know what you're talking about

    2nd-least abusive horse-involving sport, nice.
    Tho it's not my cup of tea but it's still a pleasure to see horses being used in a sport that does NOT involve beating them into oblivion or ripping their mouth off while half-breaking their necks. A silent tail, is means a happy horse and a happy me. :D

    • @telia4268
      @telia4268 Рік тому +9

      highly doubt that. The horses in vaulting are forced to be behind the vertical, I have seen very few horses with long enough side reins for the horse to be in front of the vertical.

    • @Managable_Mayhem
      @Managable_Mayhem Рік тому

      @@telia4268 Only if you're part of a shitty club or private people doing it will you find them behind the vertical.
      Vaulting horses in competitions always need to have the correct posture, tying them behind the vertical gives point deduction so it is not done (this clip also shows correct tying).
      Horses are kept ON the vertical, not before it when vaulting. The performances they are made to do do not last long, as does training sessions so there is really nothing harmful about it if the human does not slam down on them wrong and hard.
      In general, anything can be done wrong. But in general Vaulting is one of the top abusive-free sports if you look at the details of what is done.
