great dig at what Vince McMahon does every week
@@scottprice24 Yeah it was!
@@batmansdragon8820 come to tazmania
I even chuckled at that line
The Kata ha jime. I hear Joey Styles screaming it out right now. It was way lame that they broke it off in like two seconds. They should of let that develop more.
cody : mentions tazz's son
tazz : so you have chosen death
You killed me.
Tazz Got Issues
Cody rhodes would destroy that man very badly in real life
I cannot wait until Taz's son finishes his training and officially debuts on Dynamite. Taz did a pretty good job keeping his son hidden until now because I didn't even he existed. Solid segment from start to finish!
Only Drake has done a better job hiding a Child. Well done Taz.
Not really, if you look up Taz's family, Tyler is pretty easy to find.
He did a good job separating his life from.his gig on AEW
It'll be a good few years before he's seen on TV if he cuts it at all.
Taz better than DRAKE with hiding them kids!
"THE TAZMISSION! THE KATA HAJIME!" - Joey Styles. Having that play in my head brought a tear to my eye watching this
real shit lol
That's all I heard in my head
If only AEW could convince Joey Styles to work for them.

...Jesus. AEW knows how to bring the beat in most segments. Taz is still dangerous. The blood of ECW running through his veins. Never mess with a man by naming their son at their face.
Taz is a fuckin joke foh
The f****** 24/7 Championship is more valuable than the TNT and Taz crappy championship
@@waltersocie4434 Right......
Cody Rhodes disrespected Taz' role as a parent ("Why's your son training with me and not YOU?") after bringing up the latter's son's name.
@@JBHAYES actually he is a black belt in martial arts
Can we take a moment to acknowledge the fact that Taz, as well as most of ECW's top guys don't get nearly enough respect from fans and the industry?
As a big fan of the original ECW you hit the nail right on the head. We used to go to South Philly once a month to show our support for the company. At the time of cartoon bullshit from the then WWF and the fiasco known as WCW ECW was a breath of fresh air in the wrestling business.
Blame the power of WWEs influence for a good decade or so post ECW.

Isn't Taz also a legit judo black belt?
Just wow. I enjoy every single word Taz is saying.
ECW Taz was a 5'9" machine. Great to see the Tazmission again man. One of my all time favorite submission holds.

Taz once again being my favorite highlight of Dynamite. This man's mic work is outstanding.
When Cody gets that low growl in his voice during his promos it's always so chilling
Brilliant segment. Taz calling out management while mocking WWE’s corporate speak. Then Cody gets super personal mentioning Hook
@@c.a.t4607 so enjoying and investing in a story makes you a "mark" or means you were "worked" does it?? That's exactly what's supposed to happen in wrestling ffs.
@@kevoconnor145 bruh exactly... bro above can’t appreciate the fact that this segment actually had your imagination running wild for once

Get out. Lmao.
Bah Dum Tss!
I fell for that.

The nostalgia is too real! I remember seeing him choke Kurt out all them years ago. That hold got me interested in judo in the first place.
This was good
And now Taz's son is A MEGASTAR in AEW
I didn’t know Taz even had a son.

He has a son named Tyler.
But the real question is ... why didn’t Taz name is son ... Tazzz? That’s right, with 3 z’s. 😬
@@ShadyDBZ4 Tazz with 3z's? You trying to put people to sleep when they think of his name 😴😴
I'm really glad Taz just didn't have Cage or Starks attack Cody from behind and instead choked Cody out himself. Showing just how personal things got in the segment I love it.
I ain’t gonna lie, I was thinking when he walked away that Taz should choke his ass out. And he did it. I was like 👀. And marked out and got off the couch cheesying at the tv screen. 😬
@@ShadyDBZ4 Dude same here I dropped my chicken I got so hyped seeing the Tazmission again! 😂

That’d be awesome, but sadly Taz can’t wrestle anymore.
From Kurt Angle to Jerry Lawler to Cody Rhodes, all have been in the Tazmission as well as other superstars
You forgot Paul Heyman
FTW to me is like a hardcore belt at this point
Wouldn't mind that actually as it would make it stand out in the company.
I'm loving this version of TAZ he's RUTHLESS!!!
This was by far my favorite moment of AEW this year....I love when people snap like Taz did!!!
Taz is going to want to talk to Brian Cage just as much as he did Cody here after what he said on BTE this week. lol
Taz watches BTE 🤣🤣🤣
Lol
Lol Cages comment about the belt had me rolling.
The first appearance of the legend known as…HOOK
This is the first time I’ve seen taz eyes since ecw
Side note: Dustin needs to keep the blue paint. It's working for him.
Everything Cody and TAZ for that matter is apart of feels huge...Cody just gets it..
man i LOVE to see Taz in Action. He's such a good Heel. Thats AEW this can be an amazing feud
cody rocks as always
Brought back memories of when Taz introduced the belt in ECW. Great segment.
Gotta love the way the FTW title is being pushed rn. My call is to make it the Hoss title, get those new big men and AEW Dark guys something to fight for.
Most of the wrestlers that job to others are unsigned talents tho
@@supervegito4237 ain't no way unsigned talent is gonna get a win over signed talent (if they do give them a win by rare chance, they gonna get signed)
Is not a bad idea I like the fact that they keeping things interesting and keep fans guessing
FTW should be AEW hard-core title.
All hard-core rules, except the 24 hour defense rule, and to make it even more intense, a 10 min time limit
I say AEW needs to make TEAM TAZ the next NWO with how they push them. By allowing TAZ to make a FTW tag team belt and make Team Taz hate the other belts and make the FTW belts a falls count anyware belt and no count out. Make it a street level belt as in its all most a hardcore belt. That only the most violent and dangerous men can win and make it a best if 3 pin fall. The FTW belt is something I have Never seen a faction making their own belt
Talking about Taz's son is not the way of doing confrontations to Cody, although talking about personal lives can get others under their skin.
I was a boy. They were two girls. Can I make it any more obvious? I am the ULTlMATE L0VER on this platform. Don't enter my ch*nnel if you are not above a certain age, dear david
This segment felt so real like Cody hit below the belt but welcome back ECW Taz
A year later this is gold. Taz sent HOOK!
this is good shit. Real wrestling promo's/confrontations. Feels real. I Like it
Damn if only an audience was there when Cody hit that mic drop moment on Taz about his son
Taz is just one of the best ever. One if my absolute favorites
One thing AEW is doing great;
Establishing the younger guys, without over pushing.
Are we gonna see the return of Taz for in ring competition..damn, been a long time since we saw him put someone in the tazmission. That was beautiful.
I hope not
Ship's sailed on that idea. Tazz has been retired from in-ring wrestling for years because of neck problems.
I Would love see taz Return in the ring
I was hoping we'd at least get to see him get physical like this again at some point. Edge's return after 9 years out at the start of this year proves you should never say never for at least one more match, like the Cero Miedo match Vampiro had against Pentagon Jr. on Lucha Underground, which _made_ Pentagon. I doubt he has a final run, but one more match, if he saves up everything he has left for it? Yeah, that could be cool.
@@ArcaneAzmadi that match was phenominal, Amazing storytelling.
"That's his son...HOOK!"...Schiavone is the best
"I'm tired of this shit" Taz saying everything I say at work every day
Big mistake, Cody. You don't disrespect Taz like that.
Make FTW the heavyweight championship where only the heavyweights fight over a certain weight
Their should be cool weigh ins before the title shots
It would be great if u do that
Man I had the same idea like yeah it would be such a perfect gimmick
But it's not a company called ftw its aew so the aew heavyweight title is the main title it's not like njpw because njpw already exists. Maybe make it like a hardcore title type of deal where all matches have a special stimulation like a ladder match or steel cage or street fight just something to hype the title up but as far as the main heavyweight title that would never happen.
no it should be a title for tough badass guys
like eddie kingston, pac, lance, mox
Except the FTW title wasn't about what you weigh, it was an attitude and a no fucks given approach to "corporate" rules on how a champion should act or could get away with. The original Hardcore title would probably be the nearest example and even that is a fair way off.
Mix both those ideas together, the heavyweight and hardcore. The FTW title is kinda like a NEVER or shoot style title. No DQ, the only ways to win are knockout or submission. No pins. Seems fitting considering only Taz and Sabu are the former champions. That way heavyweights would naturally drift to this title over the TNT, and submission guys could still get title fueds even if they are smaller.
Little did we know that Hook would eventually come back and have a really kickass debut. He made Hookers out of all of us.
I’m loving this story line so far. The build up to this point is great.
They could make the FTW belt the equivalent of the Never Openweight title of NJPW where only badasses fight for it
See I’m all for it but the FTW championship was made for very obscure reasons. Words of RVD IT was “compensation of tazzs ego”. It was made due to various forfeits from al snow to Shane Douglas. So a new belt was made and then unified in a match with sabu. RVD had a problem with it due to a new TV belt being a promotions belt being silver but tazzs belt being gold.
Bottom line, the belt was made for improvising it shouldn’t be made a major title due to ones creation.
Also god forbid what ever reason tazz decides to leave or something, that man can sue and it just holds the company by a chain due to all of the rights belonging to tazz.
As I recall, Tazz just brought in the FTW title belt one day and made it a thing. I think Tazz is living in a make believe world.
Christopher Marriott both companies are
I'm not saying AEW is make believe, but that FTW title belt sure is.
@@Qtipz123 ohh.... so u never saw ECW?!

What about that Mox and Omega segment?
@@focusmelvin That was good too but, I feel like this segment got more personal than that seg. Plus, I'm a huge Team FTW mark.
@@KyREvolution That's shit was hype!!!!!!! Especially when Cody put Taz son name out and when Taz put him in the Tazmission lock. That shit was even more hyper, lol.
How you feel about the one promo where Eddie and Mox was in the ring. Man that was deep segment.
@@focusmelvin I absolutely loved that seg. I'm glad they're putting more focus on the women's division again. Shida needs to be a more focused part of the show too. She's the women's champ. I think this Abadon feud is gonna help her reign.

Excellent promo. I am a proud ECW fan so this was nostalgia at it's finest! Glad to see the tazmission back baby!!
Taz was my favorite ECW wrestler. I hope he wrestles again and he's AEW champion. He did some real innovative shit way back when.

I freaking loved this. My favorite moment of tonight's Dynamite.
AEW knows how to tell a story. Best wrestling in over 20 years
Sadly AEW doesn't know how to tell any stories. It's their biggest weakness. We are waiting on something. . Just one good story
Lol Billy Gunn had more than enough time to sock Taz in the mouth
Taz sold this so well. The tension felt so real. THIS is why AEW is kicking WWE's ass...
Loved it. Honestly didn’t put much into Taz much as a speaker till this segment. And we finally have a real reason to the Taz team feud with Cody
Put much into tazz as a speaker?
Brother watch ECW promos.
I only wish Tazz was still wrestling so he can show Cody how it's really done.
Bring Bully Ray into Team Taz.
Everybody stop it. The fact they use Tazs son as a plot and tease a Taz return? I love it. As a father I love him Tazmissioning Cody with his son ringside. Respect the game
Great segment! Crazy how social media works too bc I had just saw something pop up earlier this week reporting Taz's son was training to be a pro wrestler and then it ends up worked into the storyline (I know this episode was filmed last week but still cool)
They bring back the 90s raw attitude era
I want to see , wardlow , Comoroto ,luchasaurus , every big man after this title .
Might not be the exact same but amazing to see Hook refering back to his father as Redrum looks to be the same move as the Tazzmission
I think it is the same move, which is pretty cool
If Heyman can recognize the FTW Title in ECW
Then AEW and TNT can Recognize the Belt
This is an absolutely fantastic segment.
It's been a while since I've seen the Taz-mission, man we need an AEW hardcore championship
I agree. 🙂
As long as it’s not used as poorly as when WWF/E and WCW had one...I’m all for it!
Glad to see Taz back on TV, always been a fan and definitely a legend ‼️
FTW shoulda been AEW's new brand y know, just sayin'.
Still to early to start another brand, Not all the wrestlers you see are ready for TV that is why they appear on dark to build themselves
Maybe by the end of mext yesr another show more titles as they might have a bigger roster to cater with
@Toti Great idea 💡
Actually tony khan did talk about it
They have huge plans for it
I guess it’s starting now
@Toti There is a 2nd show due. It was part of the new TV deal they signed last year but its been delayed due to the virus. There's no details yet as to the format of the show. It will only be an hour so it may not be a new brand but could be something like Dark, or more interview based/setting up storylines for PPV etc. We'll just have to wait and see.
Some Cobra Kai stuff right there 😂✌
Nobody talks smack about Taz's family! As for Tony Khan, he created this problem to begin; he failed to give Taz respect, he failed to give Starks and Cage matches at Full Gear, and now he continues to treat the FTW Championship a joke.
It's just a belt
@@wish8349 and what is the TNT championship they make a really big deal about that one.
@@ronpaul1268 just a belt
The ftw title doesn't have a lot of prestige, it was just the taz belt to me, same with the tnt belt, it doesn't really have the prestige of the aew belt
Because it's not the belt that has the prestige, it's the history
Look this was what that has been missing from Pro wrestling, it felt real despite being a storyline.
