There is a piece of paper with information on it, sometimes it is very valuable, ....might keep you from using dental tools on a $300 collectable, ...its call a manual. Don't want fingerprints, but metal toolsare fine.

No tool kit or spare wheel under the boot/ trunk carpet? Either wear white gloves or don't. You only have them on until you look for the figure then you either don't have them or only one on. Also why use a metal dental pick when they supply the tool with the figures?

I can understand the frustration and struggle you went through for spirit of ecstasy. I had exactly same experience and the moment I opened the box the first thing i noticed was spirit of ecstasy. Messaged the supplier. Was frustrated. Angry. But then found it in the tool pack. Haha. I can feel the struggle

Well, a model of RR doesn't mean expensive too, like the real one trendy vehicle. This has to understand by the makers that everyone out there really wants to shop thier every article. Therefore, licensing, making, bar codes aren't matters to the buyers, as long as they are willing to pay but it never suits the makers to charge such a huge amount from the customers.

Such a great Hobby, I've been into it for a couple decades, not so much on the high-end model's, but I've done well..

I really hate to rain on your parade, but I believe you have what is possibly a third or fourth generation of this car. 😢 It is completely overpriced and nowhere near the quality of the first of this series. I was fortunate enough to buy the first/gen in 2012 for only $250.00 complete with shipping costs. It is beyond compare with this model. You would not believe the difference in quality, fit and finish. They went from a fully functional interior complete with soft seating surfaces to the standard plastic form seating you would find in 1/18 models of inferior productions. The one I have has the factory correct white leather interior, the Spirit of Ecstasy is solidly attached to the grill, the trunk and hood open by using a push pin construction on the bottom of the car, so many other differences too numerous to mention. I'm sorry to say this, but they really cut back on quality when Kyoto was sold to another, lesser Chinese factory.

If you think this car is nice. Check out the $1000 rolls with working lights....from interior lights when opening doors, trunk etc. Working turn signals, brake lights, headlights.....it is sweet.

Hi! Nice video. I truly hate to rain on your parade, but when I was watching this I realized how far down the scale the build quality has gone on this model. I got one in 2012 and I must say it was only $200.00 and the quality is much better than what they shipped to you. I really hate telling you this. The interior of the one you received is very mismatched. The seat fronts are a slightly different colour than the seat backs. The carpeting is half as good as the 2014 model as well. There were a number of details missing. The 2012 version I have has a real mirror in the rear view stalks located on the door. Yours simply has self adhering aluminium. One thing, if you open the front seat middle compartment, you will never get it to lie back down correctly. That's a flaw that mine has and I can see yours looks the same way. I'm not telling you this to kill your vibe, it's just obvious that as more of these were made, Kyosho made a lot of cut backs whilst raising the price. :(

I have this model & the two door EWB & yes, I do feel like the build quality or parts are not up to the mark.. some movable parts are quite crude & cheap feeling.. and the car being heavy creaks quite a bit.. I am also a bit concerned whether the weight of the car might overwhelm the suspension parts in future.. just in case, I display the car NOT resting on its wheels

Just some advices , first of all , you have to see all bags inside the box to check the items . Second ..Why you can spend $300 . in a great car , and you don't have an appropriate spot to show your cars , I mean not that unstable place that you have . and plzzzzz don't use that dental tools , that can make a damge to the chrome , be more sweet with that to keep your car in shape .

Found one on a Canadian site (where I'm from) for $220 USD+ low shipping fee. Torn between getting this and the Kyosho VI which is slightly cheaper. Which one of these do you think is the better model?

For $300.00 the hood should close flush to the body. The seams should be flawless.

also the middle of the rims don't move in the real car as well. It is a feature that the logo is always at the right angle. Please at least do some research before making a review.

You need to change your metalic tools in order not to damage your diecast . It's not a good ideea to use stomathological tools for this kind of activity ..
(Not to mention the terrible noise in videos when they hit your cars)

Hi Marek. As you are an Expert and you have got huge knowledge I need your opinion: I am planning to buy new Rolls Royce Ghost 2nd generation in 1:18. The only models which I have found so far are from HH and Dealer Editions which are a bit cheaper. However both versions are very expensive and these are resin models. No open parts. Do you think they are worthy that price 700$? Why are they so expensive? And do you know if other manufacturers will produce them soon? I mean kyosho, almost real?
HH is so expensive because they produce limited series. I would not recommend to start with this brand unless you have unlimited cash. You can first enjoy some high quality models around $300 and only if you want to own something exclusive, invest more. For me personally I am more satisfied by the quality and opening parts rather than unusual rare color and limited edition. But it's up to you...sometimes if you wait couple of years also othe brands produce the same car. And sometimes not. It is a lottery.

Excellent review. Relaxing to watch in a world where everybody is in a hurry. Camera shots were very good. Caution, try switching to the plastic tool for opening, it won;t scratch.
