How to make paper CAT | DIY Paper mache crafts | Best out of waste

- This paper mache was inspired by Bengal, Abyssian and Sokote cat breeds. You can make it for Halloween, just paint it black. My first intension was to make it black but after searching many cat pictures I decided to add some color.
As always I start from making a basic shape from newspaper, then start to form a shape with toilet paper rolls and cardboard. Packing paper was used to even out a surface. Then add more cardboard and packing paper. Eyes are made from cabochon glass. Modeling clay was used to shape eyes and nose. Use real cat pictures as a reference. At the end I redone eye color because there was a spot where paint peeled off of the glass.
Materials: newspaper, painters tape, hot glue, toilet paper rolls, cardboard, packing paper, white universal/school glue, cabochon glass, acrylic paint, air hardening modeling clay.

I really love the painting on this one. Would you be interested in doing a longer form video of your face painting from beginning to end? You have such a great way of capturing all the details with light and shadow and I'd watch every minute of that. There was such a huge difference from the underpainting to the cut of the completed face. I'm here for it! :D
When I paint, I always compare my creation with the real one. And my filming station is the opposite of my computer so I have to go back and forth. I get tired of it and just stop filming when I'm doing fine details because I need constant concentration 😀

I just wanted to do this for my daughter's school project however its really difficult. I salute u for being this creative and had. so much patience to flawlessly finished this kinda masterpiece.❤❤
I have other videos with simpler animals. For example hedgehog (I have more difficult and simple versions of it). I always try to make as realistic and as much detailed as I can. I understand that it's not easy. Maybe I should start to make simple versions too.

Hi what size did you use in cabochon glass? And is it hemisphere or the round effect?

Hi i been try to do this cat but i cant find the soft cardboard iam doing now but is to difficul my carboard is hard 😢
I always use toilet paper roll tubes. Kitchen towel roll tubes are also great. You can try to use cardboard from the cereal box or other food packages. It can be harder to glue, but it is an alternative 😉
