TMR I just flew to New Orleans last month and was upgraded to the emergency exit seat. It’s more leg room and . The stewardess came up to me and asked me if I was willing to assist with the emergency door and we both said yes. And the people to the left of us on the opposite side was asked the same question. They look you in the eye when they ask you. I simply said yes. And she moved on. I was on American Airlines.
I have personally been asked to audibly reply “yes”. I was on Delta this spring break
Why is it so hard for some people to just follow instructions??? Seating in the emergency row is a serious matter.
Camron said on his show with Mase this morning, that he went on CNN to discuss Mase’ work with the children, their show and Camron’s energy drink, but she never asked him about what they were actually doing and only wanted to talk about Diddy. I agree he was ignorant, but he definitely came through with an explanation for his behavior.

It's a requirement and expectation that passengers seated in the emergency row will agree to open the emergency door and assist flight crew in the event of an emergency. If a passenger doesn't want that responsibility, they should expect to have their seat changed before takeoff can occur. It's THAT serious of an acknowledgement. That passenger was loud, wrong, and ignorant, as were the people who seemed to be traveling with her.
She will not be put on the no fly list. She can be banned from Charlotte Airport for 1 year or banned from Frontier.

The lady was totally wrong. That emergency seat is very important. The stewardess has a job to do. There is no if and or buts. There are lives at stake this is unacceptable. That is a standard question. There is no excuse. That’s an emergency exit seat!!! TMR that question is always asked; it’s the law/rule/policy. If she acts that way, it would be inferred that she would not be helpful in an emergency situation. It is no joke. She shouldn’t be allowed to fly anymore.
Right. TMR has to be a VERBAL yes or no. Its not about assisting other passengers off but in the event that emergency exit door has to be used you agree to follow instructions to open it. If you say no (for whatever reason) they just move your seat. That lady thought her attitude was gonna get her a pass. Im not playing on the plane cause when we in the air we are essentially at the hands of God and the airline.

Cameron didn't know Diddy like that. He already said that. Imagine if you're an artist and you get an interview on TV, just to get there and they want you to talk about something you don't know much about. I would have been annoyed too! That was lame! Especially if they didn't tell him in advance. It doesn't sound like they told him.
Another prescriptive maybe she had to verbal say yes for legal reasons and also if she was deaf or handicap if she disclosed that then the airline would know that prior. And yes the stewardess always asks that question.

There are certain policies and procedures that need to be followed. And if you were unable to speak, you wouldn't have had all that attitude and energy. Your example is a stretch.. you know that lady had all the smoke. 😂 That woman was just tryna do her job. People let they egos get too big. 😂
I think the audible yes is required due to legal terms.
A nod can be interpreted many more ways the a clear and firm audible yes.

Cam'ron's podcast is actually really popular ! Especially when the young black lady (can't remember her name- she's a sports analyst) was on with him and Mase. But yes he was very disrespectful during that interview, he could have politely said no comment ha ha. Yep he's 48, too old for that behavior sadly.
I have named it the Trump effect. It seems people started behaving like this after witnessing him behaving as a rude classless boor with no consequences. But the Jasmine effect is going to snap them back to reality with a quickness. If flying creates anxiety in anyone, create some type of way to relax prior to boarding. If meds help go ahead and drop a pill to relax.

TMR I love you girl but Deaf and mute are not the same thing. My brother is deaf and very well spoken. There are different disabilities. They don’t have to both be present. My daughter is autistic and nonverbal but her hearing is out of this world!!
