DS2 pvp succeeds by not needing over the top weapon arts or ashes of war.
Stamina management actually matters, so good usage of it with spacing and the weapon move sets shines.
That is why it is my favorite souls pvp.
Literally all of those things are required in elden ring.Granted WA are annoying atm but hopfully they will release something to fix that soon. If not its just another souls game tbh.

@@lloydegildner7554 nah, in ER all you have to do is play passive and run around in circles until your opponent attacks and then punish
Here in DS2 both sides tend to play their part more and passive play is more easily punishable

To date still the best pvp in the series, even as someone who hated the mainline pve experience, coming from DS1, and then revisiting DS2 from DS3 there's just so much more freedom in your movement and directional options, it's unmatched.
Once you understand the benefits of no-lock combat you can succeed in your invasions even with the slowest weapons.
You can delay a roll attack, or redirect it 180 degrees, you can run attack and swing then aim behind you. It becomes a game of reading if your opponent will try to roll behind you, allowing you to preemptively swing back and hit them instead.
This along with all the cool weapons and infusions made it so special to me.

Stanceswap deveria ser do uso de todos offline e online,é praticamente uma mecânica de combate inclusive vou treinar pra ver se é divertido no PvE.
The gyrm helmet + painting guardian chest piece gave me PTSD flashbacks to players weilding spear in their left hand and a straight sword in their right and back stepping through every single attack i attempted... Fun times.

Man, I miss DS2 pvp. So many of the issues I had with DS3 and currently have with Elden Ring would be solved if they would had reintroduced many of the mechanics from DS2.
The combat is more strategic as slowly. Nothing wrong about super fast combat on later games but its feel more itense fighting like this. Any hit couts
