Chief Lekan Salami R.I.P. IICC was his Passion and Life in the Hey days of Ibadan when the Economy was booming & Champagne was flowing. IICC then were playing against great clubs in Africa such as Zamalek of Egypt. Chief Lekan Salami was the true son of the Ibadan Soil. He also has an Estate in Bodija. So it is Right that a Stadium is named after him.

I think Ibadan needs to really step up, places like Abakaliki, Enugu, Akwa Ibom, Accra etc are really pulling out the stops....places like Ibadan, Ijebu, ijesha are being left behind

Nigeria govt need to start copying from Europe since they don't have the wisdom of building. This is not a standard stadium. I believe those Criminal leaders do wach champion league. How can you call this primary school town hall a standard stadium. Only akwa ibom and Abuja stadium can be Manage to recognize the rest are town hall not stadium
