Yeah it was at home, until you repeat oversea's its just another home advantage! look at the 13 straight wins of USA and see how many were on US soil, 1 year. 12 years straight won in Europe or Asia! That's a legacy! No excuses or home pussies then!

7:50 thats not what happened. It was a triple at the end of a rhythm section and on the flat before the takeoff it wore thru to the wood and he got wheel spin before the takeoff. This made it so he was going to come up way short so he bailed. He broke his lower leg not femur.
Would we rather have, Tomac and Deegan, or AP and Hymas
Or if it's a big send don't do it so your telling every priveteer hits every thing a factory rider hits, no they roll it or double instead of tripple or etc. It clear when they do this that it's a talent thing when some guys are doing and others are not and that's the point to separate the great from the good.

I watched your last video about Deegan crazy skills and it got me thinking. Carmicheal, Stewart, Jett first couple of seasons were crash filled and Deegan hasn't had very many get offs nothing like the previously mentioned. I think we are seeing the guy that will break McGraths and Carmicheals records not Jett
Disagree, RC couldn't do it indoors! he did it overall, and clearly was better outdoors, but Deagans style isn't for longevity! McGrath like Jett style is less risk, though ironically Jett takes himself out doing a jump he didn't need to do!
McGrath did a similar thing when he was dominating the 96 outdoor title and lossed both titles by a few points.
Deagan will have a great career, but no one can predict either Deagan or Jett taking those records!
If Jett hadn't done what he did this year at Hangtown and then his thumb, which still I'm dubious on, seems very convenient to me. I would have said he had the best chance, now I am not sure if he has the heart to go the distance, that's one thing I will give Deagan he has the heart! He wants to race, he doesn't need to race!
Jett came from nothing, he now has everything at 20, he may have become to civilized to last the distance.

Well vialle was a 2 time 250 champ and deegan was faster than him outdoors. But i hope jett is 100% to see him line up against herlings and sexton has it rolling pretty good right now. Should be fun to watch hell hunter had heated up to and could mix it up with them. But hymas cant stay off the ground most the time and ap cant hang speed wise.
Never thought Phil would cry about it it seperates the better riders bs to cut it down hit or not be careful if not next cut down a jumps just flat track or tables only dam more passed more I think about so I'll stop now

Imo he over trains off the bike, he's ripped, but he's not race fit, also what is he putting in his body, this EB issue isn't natural imo! Lots of supplements and gym, ridings not racing! I had never heard of it until Roczen got it the first time in 18 or 19 when it surfaced. I now coach Rob has talked about this, maybe Roczen needs to employ some of Coach's wisdom
Tomac was never going to race MXDN, I don't know if he's genuine about bowing out or its just his usual MO with MXDN.
If genuine why say ya want to go before ya have even raced outdoors or after the first round even.
I don't know why he even hyped it up, nothing against him, he's a great racer and been a great champ at home! But his overall legacy imo is he is a stay at home racer, even in 208 he was pretty average at MXDN at Red Bud! He don't want to get beat overseas, don't want to rep the country! Which is weird because his Dad was a hero of mine and he raced all over the world for MTB and Road bikes, he never backed down on opportunities and was outgoing in that era, he was the Bob Hannah of MTB for me.
I see Deagan falling into this trap, always say one thing do the other when it comes to MXDN, I am a fan of his, followed his career and their channel since he was on 60s, but it disappoints me! These guys have money they have the future, he doesn't even have to race a day in his life he's set! I know he's got pins in his arm etc, and Star will whine and moan about costs, but if this was in the US like next year all these guys will be clamoring to get on the team!

Where as Sexton, AP, they step up, I listened to a Sexton interview on another channel, it frustrates him and for that I respect him more!
Many countries not in Europe have to scrape, have to hold trail days or tracks days for public to raise funds, do pie sales, bake sales and car bike washers, what ever mow lawns shave heads etc, travel way further and many probably wont even make the A main let alone have a chance of winning!
And here is the US, one of the richest countries in the world always have the same BS every year with some teams and riders when tis not on home turf, chicken shit! disgrace for all those whose shoulders you now lay your foundations upon!
Even if the team is not strong, you go to win, atleast win your class or the overall and you can stand high beating the rest no matter what, that's what champs do, anywhere anytime, thats what the real goats did and the real greats that set 13 straight MXDN titles!
That wont ever happen again that's fer dam sure! That's true greatness, true world domination, truly when you can say you are the best, they beat everyone everywhere and during an era when they changed every rule to make it harder, they still won!
it will always be the greatest era for me in US MX and SX history!
We here all of about attitude and mental aspect and what it takes to win, yet these guys don't do that when it comes to MXDN..
Its about the money! SX next season, the only reason most are doing SMX, its a end of year bonus! Tomac wouldn't be racing or doing MX next year if SMX wasn't there! We know that.
Yet Jett and Hunter, they also go and represent there country and thankfully Honda have pulled there heads out of their As in recent years and supported it, because until they became HRC riders Honda wasn't interested either! So props to the leadership of Lars Lindstrom.
One thing I will say when Rodger De Coster retires, god help American MX and SX, because what he has done for US racing and riders and teams is unappreciated and frankly a disgrace he even has to ask some teams, but he dragged the USA to the top kept the US there inspite of the challenges out in front of the sport tripping over itself in the US.
I hope AP has a great MXDN, Sexton will be strong, but if its wet, that track will be tough and if Chance Hymas is on the team again I hope he has a break out ride and it will build on his brand value as a rider internationally!
This is something underrated by the top riders that stay at home (frankly akin to draft dogers imo) this one event raises there value, Nationally and Internationally, legacy wise it takes you to the pinnacle! Esp if you have have had the success, Like RC, Stewart, Stanton, Ward, Johnson, Lechien, O'Mara, Glover, Bailey had, multiple winners and never losers, no matter what country it was held.
Listen to Stanton talk abut the number of races they did back then and you will know its BS excuse today! just to back it up.
French, UK and Australia be hard to beat in UK, but it should be. Its not a end of year fun bus party! Its the best of the best vs the best of the World.

I believe Ken was a success. Being off lites 10-11 years, riding the worst bike at the top level, him personally not racing outdoors. And running up front for as long as he did. Think about if he had deg bike, with months on it. 🤯
