Oh I so hope you enjoy today's brand new colouring book episode, it's been a long time but we are finally back.
This one is something special.

Simba started out a little dark, but the night time background really lightens him up.

@@Scozta yep. If you pay attention when he first colors, there aren’t the extra ink details he added to his face and stuff

The muscular details that he coloured on the front legs for example don't change at all before and after the background.
@@Scozta he must have been like f time to redo. Mistakes happen and are unable to be undon unlike digital art ._.
The most impressive part of this video is how that paper was able to resist these layers

Scar has a black mane not brown. The darker more dynamic colors is more true to life of what a male lion would look like.

Glad this series is back, I discovered it about a month ago and after binge watching the whole thing I decided to get myself some markers and a colouring book and try for myself. It's really helping to shift the general feeling of despair that I've been struggling with for a while. So thanks.

Your drawing looks like one of those "examples" on coloring books that they add to inspire kids knowing full well that the kids could never color like that (especially because the examples are usually digital art for some reason. I even saw a stack of paper once where the cover paper had pictures of low quality 3d models)

Oh my god. The background the background oh the glory and beauty of the back. The cloud season and end scene of the lion king are my most favorite scenes from the movie. I’m honest holding back a tear. You did an amazing job with everything

I am so inspired rn, my outline creation skills are admittedly lacking, but I love using watercolor paints so I end up tracing images and then painting them, I always felt bad about doing that though even though I just hang them in my room

Man, I really like how it feels like you can see the individual hairs on the mane even though it's a flat image. I had a feeling i would like this video, but i was really impressed with the work
Sometimes I just see suggestions after watching Bob Ross... and then I see this.
Currently studying in visual arts to eventually help people with color deficiency in software and interactive medium (gamer here). I grew up with The Lion King and you just elevated my childhood to a majestic level. I wasn't exactly sure how you could have made the darker tones of Simba match the emptiness of the paper but that background? With the rock and the tip being lighter as it was in THE scene? Just... wow! For someone who says "Lady Simba", you understand the movie better than Disney themselves so for that, wonderful job!
Wow! 😲 This is incredible. I really love that it was set to a night theme, I think that made a big difference with the paper issue. I really love that you added Mufasa to this as well. I think by you doing these videos with coloring books, it can give kids (and even adults) the boost to want to color beyond what's on the other page. You're an amazing artist. UA-cam sent me your lilo and stitch video, and I watched it.. But being a fellow artist who not only draws my own pieces, we too, color for fun so I wanted to see more. Then your halfway through this and bam, in with the feels for artists or just anybody who wants to enjoy this presence you have. Engaging your viewers and you did it wonderfully , offering us a feeling of accomplishment and then made a beautiful background out of nothing :) this is the shit those of us who are artist but never drew on a platform like youtube, aspire to be and see in others.. This was the first video of yours I watched, I'm really picky about the creators I watch because I have an audio issue but this was amazing. Of course you have to go for the Mufasa background. This was absolutely wonderful and a joy to watch. Your mixing of the colors inspired me for an embroidery project I'll be doing in the future. I've been so worried about making it top notch for a creator I love and just jumping in and just doing it is good advice and I plan to follow it.

Great work! That is what I was writing about under one of your videos. To add that talent and workmanship - that advanced colouring and realistic style of shades to really basic and simple picture and see the outcome. This looks much better than you colouring superheroes colouring book - no matter how simple it would be. Here you can truly see how much 'life' artist can give with shades and colours to a simple picture.
Each time I watch your channel I feel the need to colour🤣 thanks. It’s nice to go back to my roots
This is so cool love the lion king your coloring book videos have shown me a new exciting perspective when coloring now as I usually just do one tone no layers but now that will change thank you for the inspiration :)
When my kid was younger she and I both got frustrated with coloring book paper and so I taught her tracing techniques to transfer the idea from the coloring book to better art paper for colouring stuff she loved it and it honed her skills and I loved joining her in creating... when I got home from doing graphic art stuff all day...it was a nice break to do some actual creativity and not editing others stuff forthe company I worked for to print lol
You went above and beyond, and for Disney fans... when you put Mufasa in the sky I teared up. Not going to lie.
