UWest celebrates Vesak 2024!

The UWest community, located in Rosemead, California gathered together on May 1st, 2024 to celebrate an international Buddhist holiday of Vesak (aka Buddha's Birthday).
This event was hosted by 3 student-run clubs: Buddhist Society, REL Graduate Council, and Buddhist Chaplaincy Club. All students, faculty, and the administration team were invited to participate in this wonderful event, where everyone had the chance to craft beautiful Vesak lanterns, imported from Sri Lanka and Chinese lanterns too.
