Hey Kasey I,M SURE YOU WILL READ THIS! My son and I im 35 he is 11 yesterday we have been follwin your videos and when you were paintin for fast n loud longtime fans. One of the biggest reasons I watch your videos too is because you have a heck of a camera and the Video is cristal clear Thanks bud keep the videos comin and tell the guys at your shop we appreciate them too!
Yeah if KC keep videos coming I'm learning I'm 58 yrs old have been doing body work on and off always wanted to paint I'll get there I'm a truck driver by trade gearhead but wish you the best with your shop
That’s cool I know how to paint my cousin use to own his own shop he showed me how to pain but just my own trucks love watching y’all paint learn a lot watching
Great atmosphere and personality and vibe in this shop ..and stuff still gets done to a high standard. Would be fab to work in here . State of the art paint shop and facilities
Someone can watch all day,it's hands on thats a different animal..paint isn't paint, just like the other materials it takes to get a high end quality paint job! I think my hard earned money,7 years of overtime and parts saving and just have kcspaintshop do it right the first time!!! It's like you take the family car down for exhaust work and the welds look like chewed bubble gum!!! Or you take your car to a local collision shop and you can see sand scratches, clips or screws missing just half assed butchered work! ONE DAY I WILL MAKE KCSPAINTSHOP WAITING LIST!!!!
Yes BOYS wanna see SHOPDADDYS,install and burning donuts!!!Better yet get all the Boys to work a friday & that afternoon get them to show there rides and do some!!!!OYA
When the hood was hosed off at the end and the panels were wet it looked like a nice paint job. I wouldn't do this but could a person clear coat what's on there now and call it a day
Like the ideal of having a section to show the customer what he is getting. Hard to tell on just a spray out on a flat panel and how it will react on curves and body lines.
Dang people, lighten up.. If they want to take fifteen minutes to Scotchbrite a clip, let 'em. They're actually showing you what goes into that in real time. If you're only watching to learn technique, go somewhere else where there's no personality. This is the best of both worlds. And like they said, it's on the fly and it aint scripted. Just the way it should be.
Agreed. I'm painting my own work car right now. Door dings, scratches, dead clear on the roof, new bumper cover, etc... haven't even turned on my compressor yet. The entire body is 600 wet, with a few drops of Dawn detergent in my water. Zero contaminants on the surface and no DA butcher marks to deal with later. Patience makes a flawless body.
Hey did you guys ever do a "how to on a painted surface" ? There are a few videos out there but I feel they are either co pletely over kill for what I'm doing or just shit advice. I'm painting a 93 calypso fox. No rust but, it has some chips and a few dings here and there. The worst part is where the 2 inch hood flew up and smashed the cowl and roof but, I am almost finished with that night mare. I peeled the cowl off and welded anothe on it. I'm going to use just a simle single stage. Want to do black but, I realise black is a lot more unforgiving than others.
hell yeah burn outs like seeing that need more of that and I know that Ford can do better then that now hell I had a 93 Ford ranger 4.0 v6 and posi rear end and it would light up the tires lol so he ant doing something right get KC out there show it how it's done
Between peekin in the neighbors windows, stalking and trolling i don't have the time to do my own projects...plus living in my parents basement....waiting out there last days so I can collect the insurance check and inherit the house and the rest of their SHIT...hard work and jobs are for suckers..
If you're going to do actual how to videos I recommend you edit them short so they'd be more useful, this one could have been 2 minutes. Thumbs up anyway.

Js S the black primer would fade pretty fast even with a good clear coat cuz the primer wasn't made with uv protection type stuff in its pigments

Hi KC whould you use raid water ? We are in a drought so we collect rain water .
Also your wife we love her too!
What do you recommend for flat paint? Base and a flat clear or a flat enamel?

David KEMENESI

You got it brother water sand till your finger tips bleed! Showing my age old school
what is the name of that song that you open up with every video
When do you change the scotch brite?
Tony Finck when combined with the 3m paint prep stuff the scotch brite pads can go along ways
Sikkens Autowave wb, no longer requires scuffing?
If I was prepping that hood I would just use a sledgehammer.
Jay Jay
I would use a housewife hammer...
What's the 3M product you're using to wash the hood?

save your money, scotch bright and comet. used it for years
I like the idea of doing a how to, but I think it should be multiple clips and not one long one.
Rubbing the curves of a chevy is like rubbing your gril
79-80 hood 😜
Do a good job and I'll bring my 77 down for a new front clip...I'll buy hamburgers and fries!!
KC at the rate your going you'll be 300 lbs. in 10 years. Get ahold now before you turn into the fat slob on Misfit Garage, Tom.😄
