ok, this might be a stupid question but since nobody else tickles the alhorhitm, I'll fire away: why do you have combat frenzy, what exactly consumes those charges in your build because I don't see any frenzy or endurance charges on your character while fighting and I am just running in circles trying to understand it.
@@CapitanBreakfast combat frenzy generates frenzy charges that I’m converting to power charges with resonance. I’m consuming power charges with charged staff to get culling strike and some extra range that seems to scale with AOE from pillar. It’s not really necessary and honestly I barely run it. If you want to run mana remnants or wind dancer instead those are all viable options
@@willlovesthea yeap, I misread that node entirely... I read it as Frenzy turns to Endurance and never considered it because of it. Thank you for your reply. What I really like is to use Charge Infusion for power charges because there's a little cluster next to our pathing (overflowing power) that gives 80% crit damage and 100% crit chance (from 5 power charges / 3 default + 2 from node) just for critting stuff... You might want to take advantage of that little hint.
@@CapitanBreakfast So the issue with being reliant on power charges for damage is it feels more or less inconsistent when you really need the damage (bossing). Even with buffed combat frenzy, I'd say your freezes/electrocutes/stuns are not consistent enough to sustain it. I know there's other set ups to invest further in charge generation that I just don't think is worth since we're pretty point, spirit, and gem slot starved in the build. We do crit and the higher cap of the build is investing in more baseline crit (with a 250+ divine adorned 😢) but if you find a solid setup with charge infusion, please let met know!
I think the build is pretty deserving of a nerf. HoWA was brought in from POE1 with no changes to stats but was changed from a weapon slot to a glove slot, allowing for interactions that GGG didn’t have to deal with in POE1. I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets the Nimis treatment and get its drop rate gutted, but obviously that’s all speculation.
Thanks for the awesome video. I’m about 30 percent there on this build. Just wanted to ask, how important is tooltip damage here? My tempest flurry is at 400000 if I make changes as per your tree, it drops down by around 90k. I’m confused.
@@SushNaut1991 tooltip damage is a pretty good indicator of how your build is doing. There’s quite a few important notables on the tree that bump your damage and the tree that I have corresponds to the gear that I have. For example, you might want to get more strength on your travel nodes if you don’t have an astramantis (and also play hybrid life/mana without CI)
@@Despond well, pillar is a pretty common unique and technically howa is target farmable (in a VERY SLOW fashion in hcssf) I would be genuinely impressed to see a hcssf iteration of this build.
How big of a damage difference is a HOWA +12 lightning damage to a +10 lighning damage? 2div vs 10div price difference is it worth it? Also is it better to buy a caged god 18% attack speed instead first?
That stupid Resonance jewel costs 200 divines and no way near in hell worth the cost. What's the alternative? I have pretty much everything else you have from my Galvanic build Oh and... I have a 16% pillar of god instead of 18%, is that going to be an issue?
Yeah, a few big streamers are playing different variants of stat stackers so items are far more expensive now. You can move the against the darkness to the bottom-most jewel slot and go for an iron reflexes from nothing (40 divines). If you path towards "sand in the eyes" and "blinding flash" you will still get 6 notables in the against the darkness radius, it's a good alternative.
16% is fine, it's still 1% more efficient than a 3 socket pillar. Just keep in mind that base attack speed scale multiplicatively with increased attack speed modifiers so each 0.01 increase of base weapon APS is a big deal. There's other places to get more power though and paying premiums for a better rolled corruption is not always the right choice. Completely up to your judgement.
@@willlovesthea What you're trying to tell me is that I should still try to hunt a cheaper 18% then. Btw, doesn't it bother you that your weapon is not Q20 even though it does nothing? Or it's just my OCD :D
@@willlovesthea Those 6 would be Sand / Blinding / Coursing (from Iron) / General (from Iron) / Polymathy (From iron) / Jack. did I understood you correctly?
@@CapitanBreakfast Yeah, an 18% feels really good but a 16% will by no means brick the build. And no not really since a quality 20 would give a total of +3 flat max physical attack damage, which in comparison to HoWA's flat lightning damage (which is where nearly ALL of my base attack damage is coming from) is nothing. Just a quick price check seems like people are charging 5 extra divines for a 20%, which seems like an absolute scam to me for like not even a 1% damage increase.
Very nice video, thanks!

It is the best build around
