When sewing the gusset of the outer fabric, the corners of the bottom are thick and difficult to sew. It's okay if you don't connect the corners properly. It is OK up to the last minute where you can sew.

The matching mark on the side of the outer fabric is necessary when sewing the gusset.
About fusible interfacing
A thin core is pasted on the outer fabric to give it a soft finish, but I think there are some people who want to make it click. If you use thick fusible interfacing, it may be difficult to sew with a home sewing machine if you stick the fusible interfacing up to the seam allowance.
