You might not believe this but I am a long time viewer who is not keto, never tried keto, don't ever want or need to go keto - but I started watching you two during the lockdown of 2020 and enjoyed your funny personalities so much I kept watching!!! You are doing so much more than teaching ppl about a keto lifestyle - you are sharing your personal journey with your sister and it is so heartwarming and encouraging and always makes me smile. Thank you so much ❤
My daughter’s doctor told her to feed her baby ice cream too! It blew her mind because her baby is breast is fed and she and her husband are very health conscious. Her baby isn’t underweight! Doctors are ignorant when it comes to nutrition. They admittedly only get a brief course on proper diet. A lot of them are still stuck on the low fat, no egg yolk trend!
I’ve stayed the same for a month now. Lost 35 so far. I can relate to every thing you’ve said and done. I’ve been hiding for most of my life behind people. Thank you for being real. I love your channel!
I LOVE that our husbands loved us as we WERE...mine said through our courtship that he had no idea what I was tripping about. Was he blind??? 🤷♀️ I'm so inspired by you two...I am smaller than I've BEEN thanks to keto. He really doesn't care, but I will finally be able to take a picture NEXT to him and not half of me behind him...for ME...at some point in this journey 💃💃 💃 I'm gonna get there...
You two young ladies are delightful and beautiful in front of the camera. I'm 76 and keto since 2018. Keto has been liberating to me. Not fighting the scale. Not worrying about how I look from behind. And yes, I have pictures to keep me motivated but honestly not even tempted anymore because I have felt so much better. Also I'm the only one of 4 siblings to NOT have diabetes and the health issues that accompany that. Keep up the good work because aside from your own good health, you keep so many people motivated with your channel.
Even before I started Keto, I watched a good many channels related to diet and weight loss. Eventually I came across the Chris Cooking Nashville mashed potato video. That led me to your channel. Honestly, there's something how you do what you do that makes for a relaxed, informative and funny video experience. I know you guys were hoping to get to 250K by the new year. Well, of course you got to 175K. But please keep going. You'll get there soon.
You girls always looked great! I hope you know that carrying weight on the lower half of the body is healthier than having it in the abdomen. Thanks for your work and for your openness. Your channel is positive, uplifting, and warm. Thanks for not BS-ing us & just saying it like it is. Obesity is a lonely road. I, too, have been up & down, & just don't know anyone who understands. You girls do. Sorry that you do, but at least you took care of it while relatively young. Congrats. You're inspiring ❤
Thank you for this. It came right on time. I fell off track during the holidays and wasn’t sure if I wanted to go back to keto, but now I’m motivated again.
You'll are so down to earth and just so honest, that's why I watch. Thanks for sharing your pics with us, I can identify with many of the stories you share. It is a tough road, but I get motivation from your channel. Thx again, and Happy New Year to you both.
As a guy...I just want to say I love you two!!! I think you've come along way in your weight loss journey and you should be so proud! I also think you're both beautiful and you've gained so much confidence in front of the camera since you started on UA-cam.
You gals are the best. I've said it before and will say it again- you're straight forward, fun, lighthearted and honest. Big Fan in Santa Barbara Calif.
🎉I have been on keto for six months now. You girls have been a real joy to me. I am proud of you and you are both beautiful girls. I understand the fact about the weight loss. That is just literally what I am going through. I lost a huge amount of weight and then I slowed down and even put on a couple of kilos, which when you are strict which I am..I am not giving in. I have lost some more weight so I will keep going. Also I feel so much better on the keto lifestyle, so thank you girls and lots of blessings 💞
Thanks for sharing. You ladies are so entertaining. It seems as though you have locked in on Keto. You are an Inspiration for everyone wishing feel better about themselves. When I see photos of the 296 pound man I was 3 years ago, I can hardly believe its me. I am in what I call maintenence at 180 now.
Well done twins..... You've really done well, I think you are very brave to show the pictures, because you are real you're helping people to understand that they can be successful too and achieve good health. Love your channel, 👋💞👯♀️
I enjoy watching your videos and share often with friends. Love the humor you mix in as well. Had to make a comment on this one because it hit home. I’m 75 years old, 5’11 and was pushing 300 lbs in 2017. I didn’t gain all my weight until I was in my 40’s. Started Keto in April of 2021 and have been holding at about 190 lbs, give or take 5 lbs for the last two years. Feel great and off all meds. What hit home for me in this video was how you felt taking pictures. Like you back then I hated my picture being taken and I also would be the one hiding behind others. I’d even goes as far as deleting pictures if I could. Even now I really don’t like pictures of me being taken. Old habits die hard😎. Keep up the good work. I look forward to your videos in 2024.
Thank you for also posting these types of videos, they are helpful and inspiring. ☀️ You two are very real and authentic and that makes it so much easier to watch. ☀️
You two are such inspirations. Honestly u were both beautiful always but as a morbidly obese woman myself I totally understand why photos are hurtful. I hate taking pics too as a reminder of my size and multitude of diet failures. Thank u for sharing your journey and being so real about "failing" many times before finding such amazing success. It is really motivation for so many including me. Xoxo❤
We have all done those camera tricks, avoided photos and felt awful or horrified then depressed upon seeing the photos. Its hard enough seeing the photos ourselves but posting them on YT taps into every woman's anxiety. Much respect to both of you and congrats on your hard work and success!
Love this channel so much. "Technically keto" has been a game changer for me. I don't have too many pics of me before my 40lbs weight loss; mostly because I liked taking them and just wasn't in them. But, going through old clothes tells the real story of weight loss. Great job and congrats to anyone on the keto journey too.
Thank you for this video I am turning 70 in three weeks sad to say I have been insecure about myself 90% of my life. It makes me so sad to have wasted my life like that. You girls are beautiful.
All your candid honest conversations mean so much to all of us who have struggled with the same wt issues. Boy did I identify with your photo phobias! I trained my husband to photograph me as a head shot or chest up only as I too, carry my weight in my hips and legs. I always hid behind anything I could find, a car door, a rock, a person, peeking around a tree or a monument while on vacations, anything! And I never wanted to be in the foreground of a group pic bc it made me look even bigger than everyone else in the photo. I’d direct anyone taking photos to get on the far side of me so I’d be in the background. Oh how I can identify w/ hating photos of myself most of my life. But after losing about 125# on keto in last 20 months I now fuss hubby if he doesn’t take ENOUGH photos of me! Now I even photograph myself full body each time I wear a new outfit …yes I love dressing again vs dreading it so thank you again for your open candid bear your soul honesty. I love watching all your videos and I’ve learned so much from yal in my journey. You make it fun and humorous and don’t take yourselves too seriously. You’ve become a part of our family and my hubby will walk through the tv room and see you on it and say so what are the keto twins up to today? 😊I also want to say how much I respect yall for forging through and creating content no matter what’s going on in your life. I was so saddened to hear about your dad and your family’s loss. 😢 you truly have a fan base that grieves with you and for you. 🙏🥰 hang in there. We need you both. I don’t normally write this much or at all even, but I’m an ardent follower and fan. …And couldn’t not comment ❤❤
Thanks for sharing. I'm starting.... again. I can't believe how many times I have said that to you! Hopefully, this will be the time I can lose the weight and keep it off. I have 50 lbs to lose.
Can relate. I remember how debilitating always hiding from cameras was. I don’t have any photos from my fat years in the 90’s bc if I ever saw any I would destroy them on the spot. Harder to do when digital came out though, but luckily I was trending healthier by then. I found the only way I could do it was avoid sugar completely bc just one hit of it and I was out of control. Now we have substitutes which is just amazing, and the recipe searching is how I found your channel. Thank you for sharing this experience so candidly. I’ve never talked to anyone about it before and I am grateful to know I wasn’t alone in making myself miserable with the neurosis over being captured on camera looking (and more importantly, feeling) gross.
Wow! This video really hit home. I carry my weight on the bottom also. I tie things around my waist as a security blanket, thinking that I'm covering my big butt rather than enhancing it😮 Also, the quirky things that I do to cover up, long sweaters and jackets, etc. You ladies are so honest. Thank you for putting yourselves out there. You don't know how truly helpful you are to others. Keep it up, ladies!❤❤
you two are the greatest thing that has happen two Keto. I still watch your videos even though my kid stop doing Keto. Everybody in the Keto world thinks you guys are wonderful and so do I. You look great and your videos are fun to watch.....keep it up
Thank you for sharing this…truly. I understand how you feel about pictures. I’m 62 and have been on the diet-weight loss yo-yo for my entire life. You’re both beautiful…in the past and now. My girlfriends to this day will take my picture and rave about how ‘cute’ I look and I make them delete it…because I don’t think ‘cute’ fits a woman of my age, AND I not only have weight to lose, I have rolls of skin. Sure, but I’m ‘cute’ 🙄 😂. They do it to bug me, but they are really supportive of me in my journey. I appreciate you both and absolutely love your channel. I took a preop video and pictures of me right before I had bariatric surgery. I lost, then gained during Covid (not placing blame on that…I was like many, not handling it all as well as I could have). Now, I have the technically keto community to help me along. The pictures I took of me, make me take notice of where I was…and where I am now. 💋💋
Thank you ladies for sharing your journey in photos. I kept a pair of my "big" pants and a shirt or two just so I could see how far I had come (lost 50 pounds, went down 2 sizes).
You might want to consider investing in a Foodsaver vacuum seal device. For me it was a well spent $80 and you can get replacement bag rolls online at reasonable prices. This can help reduce food waste and spoilage as well as help in food prep storage. I buy frozen veggies and keto friendly berries (Strawberry, Raspberry, Blueberry) and after I open the bag to use, I put the remaining amount in a foodsaver bag. This helps to keep the ice from forming and I haven't had any waste caused by freezer burn. If you have the freezer space, you can buy the larger bulk bags and using the "sealer bag rolls" create a bag with enough extra length to allow you to cut along the seam, take what you want, and reseal. Key tip is do not bend the bags after you seal it if you want to reuse it - only manipulate what is inside the bag after you have re-opened it and separate at the seam you cut. Also, use a Sharpe / perm marker to note the date on the bag. Foodsaver vacuum also support advance meal prep. You can make multiple types of meals in advance, freeze into your desired serving size(s) and take a "grab and go" approach". You can meal prep for "pre-cook" and "reheat". I cook chicken then after it cools, make stir fry packs. I make zucchini fritters (zucchini & motzarella cheese) to freeze and add egg when cooking. This works for a large pot of soup or stew ... just need to put the Foodsaver device on something to accommodate the height of the bag used since there is liquid involved and you can't lay it down. This "grab and go" works great ... take what you want out of the freezer the night before and it will be ready to pack in your lunch bag or for dinner. If you forgot to take it out - no problem - you can put it in a bowl/pot of cool water and it will help speed up the thawing out (actual experience talking here). Also works great for freezing home made jerky. I've made Keto friendly ice cream but put the ice cream in silicone small cup cake size pan - froze it, the smaller portion ice cream cups in vacuum seal bags with reseal space. This works wonderful for portion control and extends the storage duration of the ice cream. For me, the Foodsaver vacuum sealer device has been well worth the initial investment.
Gotta say, you ladies should be proud of yourself for being out there. It’s not easy being vulnerable, especially sharing pictures. I really enjoy your content. You’re not afraid of making mistakes, which makes the videos much more enjoyable. Cause hey, we’ve all messed up when we’re cooking. Unfortunately, many of the products you use/buy/promote are not available in Canada. So I try and find something similar, or an alternative. I got the most excited about your samosa recipe. A brilliant idea using the low carb wraps!!! On my list to try 👍👍
Thank you for sharing your photos. I also avoid them like the plague but you’re right, you need that record to help motivate yourself. I have a condition called Lipedema that causes me to have disproportionately large upper arms and legs. So, I understand wheee you’re coming from.
Dear Keto Twins, You Both Rock! Thanks For All You Do! 100% Italian and 5'4" Enough Said😘😁 Keto has Done for Me What No Other Eating Habbit Has Done. Your Recipes, Tips and Tricks Are Amazingly Helpful. But Your Open and Honest Journey Is What Keeps Me Going. 😇God Bless You Both ♥️ Chris from Chicago ♥️
Thank you ladies for saying this. I have had a particularly hard couple of days and you give me the courage and strength to start over. You are wonderful and I appreciate you so much!
I just came across your channel. Ty for my motivation. I been keto on and off since 2019. I got up to 167 from 138. I feel gross, moody, and no energy. Here I go again , as a trucker it is so hard to eat perfect. This winter just sucks, being stressful etc.
Great video. You are so brave. I an 5'6" and in Feb 2018 I was 225 pounds. I discovered Keto and went all in. I went a bit more clean as I didn't like all the grease but in 1 year I lost 50 pounds! I went from a size 18 to an 8 as I am now 165 and counting! I kept pictures along my journey and I kept 1 pair of my "fat" pants. I hold them up for update pictures. Keep it up ladies, you are doing great.
I think you are both absolutely beautiful, I am so proud of the two of you!!! I for one am one of your greatest fans! I love watching you try new recipes, but more than anything. I love your transparency and your desire to help other people. Keep up the great work on and off the screen!
Not having known you ladies I am just going to say it seems to me you have always been lovely people inside, but now your gorgeous outsides so compliment your lovely insides (but y’all were both precious young ladies)! I am so thankful you two have been here for so many people to boost our motivation and help us be realistic with ourselves and give us inspiration and make us laugh at your crazy silly videos, and more than anything keep us trying, because yall have made it work taking the rigidity out of it! You became technically keto and made it successfully doable!! Love you ladies!! Happy New Year!!
Thank you for all your funny videos. I have been on keto for the second time about 2 months. I needed some inspiration today and came upon this video. Only losing 11 pounds so far, I felt discouraged. I really enjoy the things you try and do some myself. Thanks again❤
Thank you for sharing this video! I truly enjoy watching both of you, and you are an inspiration! I'm 6 feet tall and did not realize yall were also tall. I really relate to several things you said about weight gain and loss for the tall person. And YES, to taking pictures of your journey! I 100% agree and know it helps me to document for me my journey too.
You two are great. I feel very similar in that I'm not the skinniest I could be, but I'm super comfortable in my own skin and at a healthy weight. Keep up the great videos. Love, love, love your videos.
Thank you for sharing all these personal moments with us. Also since I have curly hair I just shouted ‘ I knew it ‘, When you mentioned you all had curly hair also
You ladies rock! I love how real you both are. I know it's helping me & many many more stay focused on this Keto lifestyle. It really works & y'all make it so fun to ty new recipes. Plz keep up the great work & videos. God bless you both! ❤
First of, let me say that you two were beautiful both before and after the weight loss! I can totally relate to the getting-your-photo-taken aversion though, I used to call it my “disembodied floating head syndrome”, as my disembodied floating head would usually be somewhere at the very back of a group photo lol…
You ladies are amazing, I have been lurking way back in mid 2020. I have watched you ladies during your journey. Thank you for sharing your journey with all of us. ❤❤
You are so brave and an inspiration. I enjoy your videos. How you keep it up. Your honesty about your weight issues and photos and struggles with cooking is wonderful.
You ladies are so real & inspiring. I gave yur link to my boss ratevout ofvthe gate of her weight loss journey. She's lost 70 lbs since starting keto. She's been helped so much by yur channel.
Love watching the two of you and love picking up new recipe ideas even though I am not Keto. It's funny listening to your stories you always think that you're the only one that does certain things but then you realize other people go through the same things. I am the middle sister of three girls and I used to hide behind my two skinny sisters when I took pictures. I was heavy all my life yo-yo dieting up and down and I say I must have lost hundreds of pounds because I would lose 30, gain back 50 lose 50, gain back 80....etc. until I had to lose over 100 lb! I am 70 now. 14 years ago at 235 lb I joined WW and lost half my weight and have kept it off all these years. I am also 5 ft 2. Anyway I have to say I hated taking pictures I dreaded it but now I'm so happy I have those pictures because I am so proud of how far I have come and I am so proud of the two of you. It's wonderful that you have each other to go through this with. I also was a preemie and my parents had to make sure I ate a lot and I just took off running with that concept my whole life! I remember Mom buying clothes for me in the chubby section. When I lost the weight on WW I went from a size 22 to a size 2! I try to eat healthy and keep active. I love watching your videos I get so many wonderful new food ideas. I'm very proud of the two of you and thank you for sharing your story besides your wonderful recipes. Sending love hugs and blessings......Linda
Everything that you said about photos and clothing is so true! I've always hated photos and definitely made a lot of silly faces and hid behind other people. I've always worn big clothes in order to hide my body. I'm 61 and 5'4", was about 250 at my heaviest, and am now at a college weight of 170 (still overweight) that I never imagined ever seeing again. For the first time, I actually don't mind people noticing my body and the weight I've lost. I'm actually believing that I could weigh 150 some day. I'm doing carnivore and it has clearly been the best lifestyle for me.

Aww thank you! That means a lot to us!
thanks for the reminder , I really get emotional 🥹 looking back , it definitely helps
I gotta try the samosas!!!
Love the humility and humbleness in this video. It's real!! Thank you both !

Thanks for the vulnerability, it’s more helpful than you know ❤
You guys are gorgeous at any size, clearly. Congrats on reaching your goals. I love seeing more of your chat style videos ❤

I love you guys 😂 the picture of Sarah at the Thai restaurant was the best. I love how authentic and transparent you are in every video ❤
Emily on the left, Sarah on the right!! Thank you for sharing your pictures to help others. You are both beautiful, inside and out!
You got it lol

You ladies are so honest. Thank you for putting yourselves out there. You don't know how truly helpful you are to others. Keep it up, ladies!❤❤
you two are the greatest thing that has happen two Keto. I still watch your videos even though my kid stop doing Keto. Everybody in the Keto world thinks you guys are wonderful and so do I. You look great and your videos are fun to watch.....keep it up
Wow what a compliment, thank you!
I love your ideas and I do the same ,and love recipes!
Thank you ladies for sharing your journey in photos. I kept a pair of my "big" pants and a shirt or two just so I could see how far I had come (lost 50 pounds, went down 2 sizes).
Thank you so much. You two are wonderful
so vulnerable...so generous
Thanks guys.
This is just what I needed now!
Emily on the left and Sarah on the right when you were adorable toddlers!🫶🏾
You guys look great!
And even before, you looked beautiful 💞
Aw 🙈❤️
Thank you ladies for saying this. I have had a particularly hard couple of days and you give me the courage and strength to start over. You are wonderful and I appreciate you so much!
Love this! Your videos are awesome! 🥰
I have 4 blankets I got when Carson Pierie Scott was closing lol,. My favorite! LOl you two are a blast!
I just came across your channel. Ty for my motivation. I been keto on and off since 2019. I got up to 167 from 138. I feel gross, moody, and no energy. Here I go again , as a trucker it is so hard to eat perfect. This winter just sucks, being stressful etc.
I am carnivore now but i love your videos for these kind of motivational aspects. Excellent.
Thanks for being honest and sharing all of these pictures and stories with us. You two are amazing.
Great video ladies. I so enjoy being on this technically keto journey with you two! And I LOVE Sarah’s silver sweater! ❤
Y'all are a joy! Cheers to a New Year!
You girls are wonderful. I need to lose weight for health reasons and being able to watch you two is going to help me so much. Thank you ❤
Bravo ladies!!! You’re not only inspirational but you’re brave! The real deal. 👍👏

You two are great. I feel very similar in that I'm not the skinniest I could be, but I'm super comfortable in my own skin and at a healthy weight. Keep up the great videos. Love, love, love your videos.
Thank you for sharing all these personal moments with us. Also since I have curly hair I just shouted ‘ I knew it ‘,
When you mentioned you all had curly hair also
You ladies rock!
Omg I love that saying!!!!!! It’s so true 😂😂😂
You ladies are amazing, I have been lurking way back in mid 2020. I have watched you ladies during your journey. Thank you for sharing your journey with all of us. ❤❤
🤗🌸❤️
Thank you! 🙏❤️💫
You both looked beautiful in all your pic
You are so brave and an inspiration. I enjoy your videos. How you keep it up. Your honesty about your weight issues and photos and struggles with cooking is wonderful.
You two are so relatable. Thanks for putting it out there. You are in good company. ❤

I enjoy watching you two so very much.
Awesome story! Glad you decided to try the channel again. ❤
Love you two.. You're awesome..❤
Soooo brave! Thank you for sharing. It is very encouraging 😊
