All the beefs and breakups looked like it hurt Dipset over the years. They were too busy trying to outshine each other. I was surprised they didn’t have instrumentals. Even when Jada said they were rapping over lyrics they didn’t still didn’t switch up. When he said Iknow niggas that went to jail to get their teeth fixed, and pointed to Juelz I almost fell out my chair!
The Lox comes from the artist development and Puff Daddy era of showmanship, performance and rocking the stage. They learned that specifically from D. Dot Angelettie, Diddy and Harve/Biggie. They learned how to smoke rappers on a mic- i.e, Cream Freestyle with Biggie and etc. The Lox was underrated with this verzuz from the media. Puff called the Lox and said to them prior, play all your freestyles, which are bigger than some of Dipsets records. This was the MSG- a concert, mecca of Rap, Lyricism and etc. This was craftmanship at its best. The Benjamins was shaking way better- stop it! Timeless classic!

IMO he is as much as a member of Dipset as the rest of them. A lot of those Dipset songs are timeless classics too. Both groups are legendary with two very different styles.

The LOX vs Dipset thing might as well be a metaphor for what hip hop is as a whole. Dipset was favored because they're cultural icons, mostly via fashion and people wanting to be them.
The LOX always been regarded as legends but they aren't cultural icons in the sense that none of us as kids said "I wanna be like Styles" or "I wanna be like Jada". Amazing MCs and we always knew that, but if most kids who grew up then had a choice we'd rather be apart of Dipset.
