We’re blessed to own both 2019 fortuner & next gen everest. Comparing the 2 units, both of them are reliable due to maybe i always keep track of changing the engine oil on schedfor the fortuner. Wala talgang problema. Fot the everest, since we got it dec 2022 up to now walang issues. I guess my point is as long as you have basic car maintenance knowledge along with this generations access to various informations that could aid you, picking which one you would buy would come down to Budget & Needs/preference if based on the looks. You can’t go wrong with either 1.
