It shows how you won't be satisfied with a simple RPG. All the mechanics you are implementing are really appealing. How will the demo be released? On Itch? On a personal page of yours? Pls, continue being amazing
I was thinking Itch, definitely. Maybe even Newgrounds, seeing as RPG Maker games play friendly with the Newgrounds player. The thing I have to do research on is how Steam’s algorithm is affected by having a demo out. If it’s anything like putting something out in early access, it would mean trouble. The way early access works is that once you put a game into early access, Steam counts that as an official release, and that’s when they will boost your game. The full release of your game will not count, so it won’t get the big boost. If demos are something similar, I might make a Steam page to farm wishlists and not have a demo. If demos are different, then Steam 100%.
I appreciate that. There’s a balance because I’m always worried that the schtick will get old, as these are primarily for updates and entertainment, but if it doesn’t, that’s good too.
@@Cloud-HeadedDev I think it's a good reminder. Telling us you died 40+ times vs you showing how it can easily happen let's us go, "Okay, I see, that is some BS." 🗿 Maybe people confuse it with a guide rather than it being a personal challenge.

Thanks, my dude.
You're doing your best and I enjoy the transparency versus acting like you never make mistakes.
