That's the line of the year!! 'Yo you really not from here!"
I got chills... waaay too spot on!!
😂😂 corny
Next diss title if it comes.
The line of the year is "Sometimes you gotta pop out and show 🥷🥷🥷s!" 😂😅😂
Kendrick: Mustarddddddd
Drake: Lawyerrrrrrrrrrr
Yeah…you win. 🥇
👎🏽
Kendrick: Mustard on the beat
Drake: Lawyers on the brief
Embarrassinggggggggggg **drake voice**
Bodega boys would have a field day with the Kendrick vs drake beef. Miss dem ol’ days 😭
This is the biggest rap imposter case in the history of rap. The only way out was to write the best timestamp of his career. He instead called them people… He can’t comeback from this one smh
@@RonDJuan He’s gonna pivot to r!ght-wing media in due time, calling it now. That’s the only way he’ll be able to grow his brand after the dust settles on this legal nonsense
"Be you, be Canadian. Don't try to be like me, don't try to be like any of us. Don't even get any tattoos. Just BE YOU......." -Lil Wayne
Drake listened..... 15 years too late.
@@diypictures This is a nasty, nasty subliminal lol
@@tim.noonan He never rapped it but apparently this is what he told Drake back in the day.
@@diypictures I’m talking about your comment after the quote lol. Drake’s being himself as soon he gets the lawyers involved 🤣🤣🤣
I just love the fact that Drake thinks winning a Pulitzer is easy competition😂
Well it’s easy enough to convince yourself of that when you’ve never written your own lyrics
@@tim.noonan😅😅
@@tim.noonan😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yall niggas keep bringing up that Pulitzer Prize😂all you have to do is play as a pro black talker and you get one
@@tim.noonanidk ask Kendrick who wrote poetic justice (Drake) lmao yall can keep hating
As a Haitian that the realest shit ever said by Bomani lol
I have been saying this for a minute. Way before this rap battle started. Drake is closer to a Madonna that he is to any rapper. He is a popstar. And he is also a professional actor, before he ever rapped. Don't get it twisted, he is talented. But since the battle ended we have seen WAY more of Aubrey than we have of Drake. Drake was merely an acting role Aubrey played. Those ghostwritten songs were the scripts he acted out. And don't get me wrong, he's a good actor. But eventually his cultural blindspots were going to be exposed. And Kendrick just happened to be the perfect guy to do it. Drake will always have fans, but his claim to the throne in hip hop is gone. Kendrick destroyed his claim. Drake faked it till he made it for a long while, but there is no denying his lack of attachment or care for the culture in which he has profited greatly from.
And it didn't help that I am Drakes age, but he is still making music that appeals to my teenage kids and not me. lol Its wild to think him and Kendrick are the same ages, yet the maturity in their music and how they each move is multitudes apart. lol Drake just needs to swallow his pride, go through his own Mr Morale phase, shake that insecure ego and take the L. If he would have just done that from that start he would have been FAR better off. Because his, who a vast majority could care less about his spot within the culture, are going to ride for him no matter what.
Amazing comment 🎉
FACTS🎯🎯 like Kendrick said on 6:16 in LA….. “I discover myself when I fall short”…the true definition/testament of man is how you recover when you fall down… do you get back up & learn from your mistakes or do you just stay on the ground and cry?? Drake chose to cry 🤦🏾♀️ Now his legacy will NEVER be the same😔
Well Said
I hate the narrative that Dot been poking at Aubrey for years. They been coming at eachother for years
😂😂😂 why hate it? When is partly true
@@fosev47he hates the way it’s being spun. Like Kendrick was a low level rapper trying to take shots at the big dog to make himself relevant. When it was never that.
We need more Bo n Mero!
Facts!!!
The discourse around GNX is interesting to see. New York folks are cool on it. But ppl out West(who it's made for) LOVE it. All the more reason to Bring Back Regional Hip hop!
I was here in the Bronx from the beginning and I f's wit it hard, always have with the West. You seeing a lot of jealous haters.
I'm from the Midwest, and I love it.
In Detroit we ❤ it 💪🏾
That’s what K-Dot just did
Nyc loves this album...cuz we love bars
0:40 thank you. These grown boys need to understand that some men cherish the women they lay with and have children with.
Which you think he'd get given he only had his mom
Drake mama told him to fight back and he went and got the principal 🤣
His mom probably co-signed this nonsense 😂 she gives Karen/Becky vibes fr
😂
Even worse than that. He fought and lost, and THEN called the principal.
His mom definitely told him to sue. He definitely has a cousin or uncle who is a lawyer.
Drakes confidence was lost during and after this beef. If he had day one friends he would've never entered this beef.
The two of you work so good together holy shit lmao
The edge rusher tackling the 3rd string point guard is a whole visual.
"The Kid Mero" 👑😄 is hilarious!!! 🤣 Luv that guy!
Kendrick Lamar has a concert in Toronto, CA. on Father's Day 2025
😅
His concerts are June 12 & 13, neither are Father’s Day! Y’all just push narratives, because a simple glance at a calendar, could have told you that is false!
Father’s Day is on a Sunday though
Ask Haiti is WILD 😂😂😂😂
He's right though...Haiti won their freedom from France, and then was forced to pay reparations to their enslavers...It took 64 years to pay it off and bankrupted the country...Haiti is poor today because France couldn't take that L and move on...
" you..really not from here.."😂😂
Charles Barkley: "LAPD was called!!!"
get mero on more!
I appreciate this collaboration... It's balanced, informative, and entertaining! 🔥👏
Caucasity been in my daily vocabulary for years because of him 😂 10:45
I just learned it and now will be using it going forward lol. It’s the perfect way to sum up some of stuff I see on the regular.
Bomani: "don't pick a fight with the white man"
Drake, a white man: "????"
9:47 16 floors of lawyers 😂😂😂
Say Drake,
All Drake had to do was chill, and drop some hot music the week of the superbowl. Then drop a hot song with visuals DURING halftime, even with Weezy doing a God Did type verse (96 bars) on it.
... maybe there's still time.
He said do some yacht rock remixes 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Mojizzle sound mad inspirational
Mojizel is a crazy callback you really a legends
Please have Mero on more often!!!
That Haiti bar was straight ether 😂😂
"where you from? Not where I am from, we're all indigenous"
-Kendrick to Drake
Bomani & Mero Podcast loading....
Drake don't go here, fr. He should write pop songs and let the other be...
Mero & Bo ! Love it
🚨 shot out to yall for not tap dancing like the rest of these fools knowing that boy is a GOOFY!
40 isnt old in hip hop it’s just that Drake is unnecessarily juvenile
Mojizzle slander was timeless
"One of the dudes from BTS" lmao
The last part of the video “pop start” shit got me..cause Drake’s stans are calling K Dot a fkn pop star!! Just because he RAPS on pop tracks. When mf Drake specifically tries to make pop rap. Like “kids bop” for “I like rap but can it be..soft please” type shit.
Boy Bomani just made me miss Twitter way harder than anything else 🤣🤣🤣 dawg was cooked relentlessly every Father's day
awww man this was great but the world is suffering that desus and mero were not together in 2024...
Long Live Haiti 🇭🇹 #1804
His Stan base is his worst enemy. They’ve never criticized him. So he started to believe his own hype. He will never be viewed the same. This is worse than gunna.
Where 21 at??? He always talking about op this op that. Well...Drake is the op.😂🤣😂💯🤦🏾♂️
LOVE THIS PAIRING!!!!
Just make some yacht rock remixes… 😂😂😂
Lawyer! He’s really “not like us” 😂
They wonder why Drake doesn’t want to stand down. He’s been constantly reminded about how he lost a battle but yall want him to get over it 😂
He’s reminded because he started sun shit again
Well, Yeah - because that’s life… you win some, lose some… After not acknowledging an L, and moving on… well it just looks like ego has taken over ATP - and people recognize the difference between ego and resilience (most prefer the latter)
Can we let the video play for 90 seconds before a commercial 🤔
3:27 🧢 keep it to reality
Yes he was bugging with those comments. He's just biased in his stance. I don't really rock with Drake, but that's untrue. No one in raps history has accomplished what Drake has accomplished. Maybe it was the machine that played a part in it for sure. Kanye was big in his time, but Drake is on another level.
Mero's wife gave Mero the smallest room in the house.
He thought that Lucien was his buddy buddy. He forgot he is his BOSS. Rockie mistake, my guy. 😂😂😂😂
Facts. Cause I H8 the boy. No biggie either, hate just means strong dislike in dictionary. And that word fits for me
Yall got me dying 😂😂😂😂
Oligarchy I heard of… Ologopoly is new
One's a government structure, one's a market structure.
It's so simple NOT LIKE US. He's not from the culture , he doesn't understand how to react. MoJizzles mention were savage bro 😭😭😭😭😭😭
I just hope drake doesn’t randomly get found un alive
Kendrick is on the same label hmmm I wonder which one the label prefers now 😂😂
Kedrink and Wei gotta fight to the deal. NO CHOICE
To be fair, drake is suing the label, not Kendrick
Drake is the bully. He is the kid that goes around picking fights. He’s the one that calls you outside. Someone came outside and dog walked him. Then he calls the police. This is even worse than what you guys are thinking 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Celino&Barnes 😂 hThat is a regional joke
Ya Mero and them gotta change the name of the show after Drake's shenanigans 😂
8:21 The call you the boy, but where is the man? Cuz I ain’t seen him yet. His music has shown little growth in him as a person, only his ability to ride the wave of whatever is hot
Sooo Bo got 'The Kid' in the (Hive) divorce.🤔
His fans are ultra-glazing him and saying he’s in the right 😂
Thankfully lawsuits take a lot of time so every single UA-cam channel has a chance to cover the Drake lawsuits. Unfortunately already learned everything they were going to learn about it a week ago
Kanye was on top? Maybe in 2007 but 2010?
HNIC reference!
🎨🎨🎨🎨
But Drake doesn't want to sue over A-minooooooor? lol
I get weird vibes when folks align themselves with record companies against artists.....
Drake fans don’t listen to Bomani, cause he doesn’t say safe shit, and sticks up for the down trotted.
Glasses Malone
If you expected anything different You're the sucker.
Homie congested or something? 😂
Audrey Milli Vanilli Graham
Go back and listen to Beyonce remix to America Has a Problem... With the understanding that it was shot at Drake because of how he intentionally tried to step on her album release with his Nevermind album.. Drake is a total pos in every sense
😂
What Drake may be doing with the petition, might be one of the smarter things I've seen in hip hop depending on the outcome. What I don't know though is how Drake things that the label/industry did this stuff for Kendrick but hasn't been doing it for him for the last 10+ years.
It’s not smart at all.
Interesting, because in my experience growing up the group that seemed to have the biggest grudge with black women is black men like Kevin Samuels, Patrice O'Neal, Thomas Sowell, or the numerous baby daddies I grew up with.
I’ve never been around anyone and heard them listening to Kendrick Lamar…not one person
I was wit it til he said Kanye was bigger than Drake. That’s not accurate. Kanye was bigger than Drake in 2010 FOR OLDER PPL lol
Kanye is in another stratosphere.
There is a difference between a Rockstar and a popular/successful artist. Take Snoop for example. He does not stream as well as Drake and is not popular amongst the teeny boppers. But, Snoop is internationally known. His notoriety stretches beyond the confines of hip-hop.
@ stop. I’m talkin bout record sales not artistry. Thank Me Later sold 1.8 and MBDTF sold 3 mil in 2010. That next year, Take Care sold 8 mil, and Watch the Throne sold 5 mil. It was at this point that the industry made their choice. The fact that today, everybody wanna pretend like NOBODY liked Drake don’t change how it actually happened.
2010-12 Kanye who had MBDTF & Watch The Throne w Jay-Z? Who had teens-40 something? It took Take Care in 2011 for Drake to truly go supernova in fame & that's as much a crooning/pop album as it is a rap album which was key to its success
You didn't reference sales in your initial post.....
Sales/numbers is always a cop out. By that logic, Eminem is the greatest rapper and it is not even close.
There is more to being a mega superstar than album sales. What was Drake's influence/impact beyond the sales? Kanye is an icon in other spaces besides hip-hop.
@ the success was the success. There’s no point in you tryna explain away now 🤷🏿♂️
This was a surprisingly childish take, this whole "rap battle" was always stupid. Since when was Drake a battle rapper, never he's a pop artist. It would be like having a rap beef with mc hammer back in my day, lol.
Being in a rap beef itself is a battle. It doesn't have to involve just battle Rappers. That's apart of the essence of hip hop. Also MC Hammer was in rap beef back in the day. His first song let's get it started was a Dis Song to Run DMC, LL and Dougie fresh.
@lusciousmayweather8385 it can involve whoever does not matter to me, but it ain't worth a damn if one of the mc's ain't nothing but a glorified pop star. Maybe this stuff has just passed me by, but this so-called beef has always been lame to me.
The only reason I disagree with you is because Drake was the one who stepped into the ring. So if you know you’re not a boxer, why would you step into the ring? Drake really thought that he could do this for real and found out real hard
Idk about that Kanye bigger than Drake statement.. Kanye definitely was the fuckin man at one point fr sure. Classic albums 🫡🫡 but Drake literally been tha guy for over a decade easily….cant take that away from drizzy
The naïveté on this topic drives me nuts. If that man really isn’t from here, it’s crazy that he has a better understanding of how things work here. This is nothing like calling the cops. Knowing how to use the legal system is power. Imagine having to hand over all royalties earned on a diss track to the person that the diss track was about. Who would you say won that battle? Also, it shouldn’t even need to be explained that once you accuse somebody of being a p****phile, you can forget about playing by the rules going forward
You a cop
The fact that you think the monetary outcome is what matters shows what a mark you are.
The lawyers are for the LABEL not the beef. But y’all go head… 🤷🏽♀️
