@@michaelsheehy4573 when AK starts singing ‘soft spoken with a broken jaw’, there is no drums in the song on the album. Its around 2:10 thats why you see Anthony pointing at him and he is putting up his hand apologizing.
I remember one concert during the IWY tour when his monitors malfunctioned and he played Dani Cali's pre-chorus twice so it overlapped with the chorus, that sounded way weirder than this small hiccup. But all in all it is very rare from him, he is rock solid 99% of the time
Damn huge different in sound quality. Upper Side part in the stadium, the speakers were constantly overdriving , which made it really hard to hear Johns guitar playing in detail
So true. Even on the lower west block, the sound quality was horrible, which is unfortunately typical for the rheinenergiestadion (lanxess arena has proven to be a bit better soundwise). Such a shame for such a great performance and very high priced tickets. Hard to hear Johns guitar. As you said, speakers totally overdriven. Also the sound setup seemed to be a bathtub, bass and high frequencies only, almost no mids which is not that ideal for rock music.
I've been at 2nd FOS, pretty much in the center and roughly about 25 meters from the stage. The sound was really good, just a tiny bit too loud for my taste. But no instrument ever drowned out or anything. In comparison I've also been to Iron Maiden on Saturday, sat in those northern/Nordtribüne seats and the sound was absolutely horrendous, just catastrophically and comically bad throughout. Different bands of course, but we've already suspected that something about our seats wasn't ideal... Sorry you've experienced the same here.
@Mr ToterArzt Ja, den ganzen Handy Videos hier nach zu urteilen schien der Klang im Innenraum halbwegs akzeptabel gewesen zu sein. An den Randbereichen war auch noch genug Platz, zumindest im FOS Bereich, aber das wird vermutlich alles aus Sicherheitsgründen frei gehalten. Finds nur wirklich sehr schade, zumal die Tickets auf dem Rang noch teurer sind. Hab mich riesig auf das Konzert gefreut und es war auch in der Summe ok, aber der Klang bei nem Konzert ist nicht so ganz unwesentlich. Wir waren auch nah am Pressebereich, hätte erwartet, dass die Soundingenieure zumindest da vorher mal ein Messmikro hingestellt hätten.

But for personal reasons i still have to be careful about COVID, so beeing in the middle of escalation was no option for me. Nevertheless i am glad to hear that at least you guys in the center could enjoy a detailed soundscape. I have had similar experiences with Muse. Whereas Depeche Mode sounded good indoor standing. Such a huge gap between the listening positions. Should reflect in the price as well. Seats must bei cheap as hell. 😆🤘🏼
@@eltorro84 Interessant deine Einschätzung zu hören, dann haben wir mit 2. FOS wohl echt Glück gehabt, war unser erstes Mal in Köln. War eine relativ kurzfristige Entscheidung noch hinzufahren, die Karten gab's per ebay zum Normalpreis. Verständlich natürlich mit COVID, waren für meine Frau und mich jetzt auch die ersten beiden Veranstaltungen seit einer Weile. Wünsche in Zukunft wieder viele bessere musikalische Erlebnisse. :)
