I worked in a print shop and the red plastic strip had to be replaced at least once every few weeks (or rotated). The blade rarely had to be changed. any small indentation in the red plastic strip will cause the paper to get pushed rather than cut in the mark. Sometimes I just flat out switched it with each new batch of cutting because I just didn't want to deal with an issue LOL.
i think it is really helpful to the smaller artist out there to see other artist with a pretty normal amount of sales. Usually you see bigger artists only show off "oh 500 sales!!" and it can be discouraging when you only have like two. But I thinks that's pretty normal and everything counts! So thank you for sharing that! An order in the teens is something to be proud of c: we all appreciate any sales we get so we shouldn't be pressured to only show off when it is crazy high cause its unrealistic! Hope this helps to anyone! much love-
I do want to say thank you for such a wonderful and informative blog. First i didn't know that is called a blog! Lol.. I am so new to all of this. I've been crafting all my life but creating a web based business, and just good to make my products look appealing, displays, packaging, photos ... It is really a lot of work. And I honestly don't have any help. Bravo to you for helping others like myself.
OMG Bea! I was literally looking at my guilotine saying how am I going to change the red bit and your video came up!! Managed to turn it around thanks to you! Just need to sharpen the blade as I managed to snip it with a ring spiral hahah
Enjoyed the vlog. I've been just approached to sell some of my pieces in a shop. It feels very scary and I'm not sure if I'm ready for it. But excited that someone wants my product in their shop!
Thank you for sharing. I have the same one. Although it's only been six months this information would be very handy I'm the future... Best of luck in your upcoming sale.
Bia! This was such a handy video! I have that Paper cutter also and I had no Idea I could do any of those bits.... The Red bit can be used all sides!!! Thank you xxx
Sucesso!!
For business? Then you need to buy pigment ink that are compatible with your printer, unless you buy high-end printer like Bia that already build for business the ink that comes with it already waterproof inks. Normal printer comes with dye inks, cannot use for business because water will ruin your prints.
Every time I try to move from doing the actual artwork to trying to do any aspect of actual production I have issues. Mainly with my Cameo. I have the cameo 4 and I thought it wouldn’t be as problematic as my cameo 2, but alas. It always amazes me how your cameo works perfect every time. Do you ever feel defeated by these kind of things?
I couldn't even get the portrait 3 to work in my computer unless I removed all the updates. So mine went back to the store and I just stuck with my cricut explorer air 2.i was so hoping it would work too but I couldn't contact the company in any way listed and the tech at Apple could not even get it to work unless I removed my updates in my computer. Oh well.
Guys I have a big question?how you will send by post? I saw a lot of online shops and I saw all of them send it without stamps and not with Royal Mail? Can you guys give some help? Hank you very much
