When I was in my 30"s I told my Mom about something I did as a teen. She walked around all day saying "I thought I raised good kids". It wasn't even anything too bad. So now if she asks me about my younger years I just say "You don't want to know". Somethings are better kept secret. Really, I was a good kid.
My GMa raised me and I did the same thing a couple years ago!! I was like "remember that one time I snuck out to hang with guy and you caught me but I said I was with my bestie, I lied" and she was like "now you tell me so I can't do anything?!"😂

I've always wondered - why do Americans call university "college"? I'm Australian, we always use either "uni" or "college" depending where you attend. I went to Canberra College of Advanced Education which at the time was working towards university accreditation. Now, it's Canberra University. So, now when someone asks me where I attended, I never know what to say!

I'm so happy Mason is learning foreign languages. I took both French and Spanish in High School and have been the only one in my school's history to take all 4 years of two foreign languages and then I lived in England for 5 years and used my French and we traveled to Spain and used my Spanish. I am now learning German with my high school age daughter.
Just catching up with vlogs. Sunday night Monday we had a 25 hours fast called day of atonement so couldn't watch. So exciting to see you open our gift. Hope it's being used.
I wanted to cry with Shelly and Jared after Cynthia confessed. I watch way too much true crime. What ifs are playing havoc with my brain. Just think your children will do tenfold.
I never snuck out. Because of what happened to my brothers. They did and accepted a ride from people whom ended up kidnapping them. My parents had to get police involved from many states. They were taken out of state. One of my brothers did manage to make a phone call to my parents and let them know where they were been held. Police from ny found them and one of the police men was so kind. He drove them back to our home state’s police and my parents picked them up there. They were taken from Kentucky to upstate ny. Don’t know if those people are still in jail. But I never did anything like that.

School should teach life skills like budgeting etc to prepare young people for when they leave home.
They need to teach all teenagers basic economics/home economics. Learn what things cost and salaries of typical jobs.
