I’ve never done a Dreamer Designs canvas before but I recently bought the “Kindred Spirit” kit by this same artist because I love Anne of Green Gables and I couldn’t resist it. I’m so glad to hear your review about their improvements! Also, I totally thought those telescopes were insects more than once in your video! 😂

Wow. These are definitely an improvement. I know they already did a release of their 2.0 kits, but I feel like they made a more significant jump in what you are getting now. I really am happy for the symbol clarity. My eyes will be happy for that, and the fact that they toned the pattern colors down.

I hate the telescope! Every video I see I think there are bugs on the drills. I'm sure when I set up the one kit I bought, I'll freak out until I remember what it is. It's a pretty canvas. I'm glad you explained about the saturation. I wonder if that's why certain canvases turn me off immediately? Thanks for sharing!

Great video! I ordered 2 canvases from Dreamer Designs when they first launched and I vowed never again!! However, I recently decided to give them another chance. I ordered Angel Wings by the same designer and I haven’t worked on it yet but the canvas and drills look great! 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I like the one I am doing but the symbols are much clearer without the lightpad. I can't see the white symbols with the lightpad on. It is nice that you are giving them another try. 211 is a purple color, 311 is more of a bluish.
The nice thing about DD is you will have tons of drills left over so a few misshapen ones are o.k. 311 is medium blue which looks more dark blue like your 311 drills. I too am glad that you like the improved DD. I like DD and always have migraines or no migraines, lol.

I've only done one from Dreamer Designs, have another in my stash. For the first one, I cut the canvas to mount it on poster board and it frayed instantly. Any advice on how to save it??

I just ordered two tiny ones from them 🙈 lol. A lot of those white symbols will wash out with a light pad unfortunately. BUT I definitely noticed a huge improvement to their renderings in both the color balance and overall end appearance I think so that's why I ordered. But I only did two very small ones lol

Yikes... after the post DAC put up about them coping them ( like word for word for the last 2years) i won't even be completing these kits as I don't even want to show them on my channel since they are copycats...Good luck with your Affiliation
I had just got 4 of their designs this month. I started the Sleigh one for Christmas. My thoughts were, I hate the canvas material, it was unravelling on edges and one spot right next to the drills. I started bottom right in the white area, they symbols were blurry I couldn't tell what they were, then to add to that they used O,C,Q all with white font on white background. (are they on drugs? lol) I asked on their fb page and lots of people tried to help, they saw it and deleted it. I then submitted a ticket and they sent a digital copy for the symbols. Which to me was not enough since it is a premium product with premium price...the canvas is huge and they want me to WORK to figure out the symbols? like 62 up, 101 over. This isn't relaxing. HOWEVER they stepped up big time for me. The customer service was amazing! I check the other 3 and they seem fine. The replacement was much better, of course the odd choice of symbols and such were still the same, but it worked out in the end. Moral of the story they did step up and did a great job, their stuff isn't perfect yet but they are working on it.
I saw this one but it's sold out at the moment. Waiting for it to come back in stock.

Be careful. I just opened my two kits I ordered on Black Friday and ALOT of the drills are pitted/have holes AND every bag of drills has a tons of trash. It's just awful.
Not had good luck with their drills last year (2021). Now I am a little skittish. A shame because they have very different artists than the other companies. David Galchutt is not my usual style, but I love his work. And Kurtis Rykovich is so creative in his re-interpretations of popular figures. A puppy unicorn for a big bad wolf? Love it.

This is gorgeous, at least this looks better than that poor painting Ruby Q showed from dpfactory uk. I felt so bad for both paintings she got from them.

They were so pixelated you could not read the words one the first one and the second one you couldn't see the stars on the face at all.
Yea, i saw it and I would have been Pissed at 1 getting 2 different types of Glue and 2 the pixellation was horrible 😑

Have bought from them... was so disappointed. Terrible quality drills with what looked like dryer/pocket lint all over them and in the bags, poor customer service. Never buying a dreamer Designs again...

It was about a month ago! They offered a replacement and then never sent it. Never been so disappointed.
