I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. There’s often a notion in popular culture that implies marriage is not an achievement or that we should feel bad about seeing marriage as an achievement. I believe that while getting married might not be an achievement in and of itself, but staying married, staying committed, choosing your partner every day, and staying on course is truly significant and praiseworthy. Regardless of the length, the commitment to the marriage vow is an achievement. If a marriage doesn’t work out, it’s often seen as a failure. So, why can’t we celebrate it as a success when it does work out? Even if it’s not perfect, the fact that it’s functional and the commitment is upheld should be recognized as a success in my opinion.
It might be months later but I'm glad im here. This pod makes me realise im not ready for a husband like this, i do not have the foundation to build from. Husbands do not get to this level without their wifes playing their role as well I just realised from this episode that you can prepare however you want for marriage but as long as you not inside the marriage you will never know if the toolbox 🧰 you have is the right one. As a 26 year old im learning how to have compassion towards men, towards what they go through n how to better be a woman amongst those men Thank you so much for this podcast 🎉❤
Broooo the way am so addicted to this podcast.....i love the authenticity of the conversations and also the vulnerability and brotherhood....stay at it guys....keep going its really is refreshing....and i always go home and chat with my hubsby ....beautifull.
Thank you so much for watching and the words of encouragement. That last part about conversations in the home is the whole point of why we do this. Much Love!
This is really an empowering platform for men. Speaking so positively about marriage like this gives hope and an assurance that better families are possible. Thank you some of us have hope now, that we can marry and function in our marital callings.
1:01:49 Live at your own pace!! Shu sometimes the nice "couple goals" we see online do more harm than good for how we think and choices we make. Not saying we shouldn't be inspired by others or aspire for more but that pace thing is so important to keep in mind
Since I started listening to this podcast, man!! I haven't stopped. I am learning a lot. I love the fact that it's guided by the principles of God and what God says about husbands.
This is the most encouraging post, we literally make this content for this exact impact, thank you so much for sharing this. God bless you both and may you continue to grow ❤️
This is much needed content. The part about not paying school fees really made me laugh but on a serious note it’s so good to see young men get the disciple that is much needed in the Church. I love that you admit that there is responsibility on men to do the right thing but also encouraging people that it is doable. May God continue to deepening the IMPACT and not just expanding reach. Thank you 🙏🏾
Content that should be trending 🔥🔥🥺 Learning a lot from this, cos some of us we don't have those "big brother" figure to talk about suck explicit topics, this does it for us!.. 👏👌
loving the truths here. I would add, the mundane shows real love, to keep at it when it isn't necessarily exciting. There is a depth to that kind of love is something that those lost in the shallows of life cannot possibly fathom. That doesn't mean marriage becomes or is boring, but loving each other and building your love in the less exciting moments is something incredibly real!
I know God does not want me to be a husband 😂😂, but I am also getting jems on jems. Future wives are learning too 🎉🎉 I will tell anyone who will listen about this podcast! Amazing work! God bless 🤗🤗
The is a major difference between dating and marriage, indeed woman ,dont give a boyfriend, husband benefit. honestly the only way you can make it is always going to the one who gives the gift of marriage, God is amazing....and if you involve God even way before you get into marriage....it becomes easy to depend on him During....♥️🙏🏼.....may God Continue using you both...this topics help some to really appreciate their husbands.
can you please invite men who are married more than 30 years and are still in marriage, it will be nice to hear how they view marriage vs the new generation husbands.
you are right, just did a quick Google and it’s free to have the ceremony and R75 for the certificate. to each his own but we know too many young couples wishing to start their lives as married but are prevented because of the pressure of a big event, let alone Lobola. It’s a touchy subject for sure cause of all the dynamics involved.

We should really re-think the idea of a wedding ceremony if it prevents people from being married. It was R 75 I dont know now ko Home Affairs,
