We went on Iceland's Golden Circle Tour using an app and a rental car

In this episode of Lauren of All Trades... Lauren goes on a self-guided audio tour of Iceland's Golden Circle!
We did this tour in May 2023 but the experience should be more or less identical except the tour price went up and it will be warmer later in the summer and darker in the winter.

I did the bus tour,I definitely would rent a car and drive next time.Its nice to be able to stay as long as you want.Thanks for the upload. 😊

We didn't plan to do it this way. I accidentally booked our hotel near the airport, not realizing that the Reykavic Airport Courtyard Marriott isn't really in Reykjavic, and so we needed a car. I wanted to stay at a Marriott and got an excellent price so we kept it after I realized my error. But that worked out for the best because we were able to buy this tour instead of a bus tour.
