Well, you definitely need blue to ensure you can bounce it at instant speed. Ertai, The Corrupted fits with stax and this card as you can sacrifice it at instant speed with all the abilities on the stack AND you still get to use Parallax Wave and Tide. Alela, Artful Provocateur would give you tokens when you cast enchantments, which you could use to attack or sacrifice for value. And since you'd be playing the long game, you could use Damia, Sage of Stones to simply refill your hand when it empties. Lots of options!
Just a minor correction. Suppression field does not stop Ashnod's Altar as that is a mana ability. Still, it is a must have in enchantment decks. Also adds cost to Planeswalker abilities!
Enigmatic Incarnation saved my but in a control game where someone imprinted Counterspell on the scepter and had Unwinding Clock and plenty of artifact tap and untappers. I was able to tutor Destiny Spinner on the board by sacrificing Instill Energy. After that I cast my Sovereigns of Lost Alara and tutored my Eldrazi Conscription and he was very dead.
great decklist. reminds me a lot of my estrid deck. I would also consider some protection like priviledged position or greater Auramancy . Since nealy every card is an enchantment, enchantress style creatures like Argothian Enchantress would produce a lot of value.
Greater Auramancy would be a hindrance in this deck as Shroud prevents the targeting with the bounce spells. Privileged Position is good but a bit expensive at 5-CMC. I do enjoy hearing recommendations though, cheers!
Oh Baron you such a gentlemen! Compare to you am beast, my Tuvasa deck comes with the combo Enchanted Evening + (Cleansing Meditation, + or Primeval Light, + or Calming verse)! Let´s just say back when people used to play magic, i would always be asked the question if i was going to pull this deck of mine out! Hey who knows if in the future the two us try match between our Tuvasas decks! PS: I promise i try to be gentle! XD XD XD
Awesome Deck Tech Baron, really interesting stuff! I have an Aminatou deck that abuses a lot of the same cards, especially the Parallax suite. Unfortunately, I rarely get to take full advantage by manipulating the stack since Aminatou operates at sorcery speed. I know it's an evolving deck but I'd love to take a look at the current decklist!
I expected to see some repeatable "bounce self controlled permanent" but I don't know if some of that actually exist or if they are all too mana intensive to be playable. Anyway I loved this decktech: I LOVE STAX!
One card that I think fits in rather nice is Opalescence. With it at Parallax Wave, you can exile every permanent your opponent controls. I do wonder, however, if this deck is fast enough to compete with proven competitive decks. It altogether seems too slow to compete with the likes of Consultation decks, or even Gitrog and the like. Not gonna swear on it, it might just be my bad experience trying to play Blood Pod back in the days when Breakfast Hulk first came into prominence, but I found stax very difficult to get to work, especially as a one-size-fits-all build, simply because there are too many things that needs to be hated out, in order for it to be able to guard against every eventuality in a competitive pod. Add to it the amount of free counterspells flying around your run of the mill competitive pod, and you're in for a world of meaninglessness, as your every attempt to slow the game down is countered. It's certainly a nice 8, maybe even a 9, but nowhere near a ten, in my experience.
When enchantments like Oblivion ring enter the battlefield, the ETB trigger goes on the stack and hasn't gone off yet. Then you bounce it to your hand at instant speed - now the enchantment is no longer on the battlefield. After all that happens, then the ETB trigger happens, and the enchantment is no longer there to trigger the when leaves the battlefield effect.
@@frosty980 this is one of the exceptions where Extort itself doesn't have a color symbol to use it, the hybrid mana symbol is in the reminder text, which doesn't count.
Aristocards I get your point... But EDH always offers a opportunity window for this kind of cards. In other hand, I would add a little more graveyard recovery, such as Archeomancer or so. Well, that’s my point of view, and I respect yours. Cheers!
Blind obedience can't be in the deck because it has black in its extort cost, making its color identity white/black and tuvasa is only blue white green, can't have black cards in the deck sadly
Who would you use to build around Parallax Nexus?

Oh and of course Zur, The Enchanter, who can tutor for the Parallax Esper suite of enchantments
Song of the dryads would be a nice include , love the way you went with this deck. I build mine as a gods theme.
Just a minor correction. Suppression field does not stop Ashnod's Altar as that is a mana ability. Still, it is a must have in enchantment decks. Also adds cost to Planeswalker abilities!
Just finished buying a bunch of cards for another Enchant deck but I can't resist your deck build, time to shop again.

You should put Frozen Aether, it is a crazy card that can basically demolish your opponent.
Loving this deck good sir! It's a nice change from the usual esper stax I tend to play. I will definitely give this a whirl!
a link to the list would be great.

the new enchantress from TBD would be cool, I plan on adding that to my tuvasa and yarok enchantment decks. That card seems so underrated!
Setessan Champion is pretty good if you feel you need more card draw.
@@Aristocards I always need more card draw
have you thought about Words of Wind? Bounce on draw and with Library makes Legacy Enchantress.

No Isacron’s Scepter to repeatedly cast those bounce spells?
I expected to see some repeatable "bounce self controlled permanent" but I don't know if some of that actually exist or if they are all too mana intensive to be playable. Anyway I loved this decktech: I LOVE STAX!
I think you might have forgotten to add the decklist to the video description.
Nice video! Keep it up
Cheers!
Is there a deck-list somewhere?
I dont think suppression field does anything against ashnods and phyrexian altars. Pretty sure those count as mana abilities.
¿Do you have the decklist?

I still don’t really understand the combo, why does the enchantment leaving play trigger not go off when returned to hand?
Also, isn’t extort outside of tuvasa’s color identity?

Aristocards ahh I see, thank you very much for the reply.
I don't see a deck list link. Am I missing something?
why _Kenrith's Transformation_ ? _Song of the Dryads_ isn't just better?
It draws a Card?
Yes, and it costs 1-CMC less than Song of the Dryads, so you can play it on Turn 2.
@@Aristocards mmm in that case, then why _Imprisoned in the Moon_ ? _Song_ is obviously better because it can hit anything
What? No Disappearing Act? A counter that bounces your own permanents is not included? You are a weird fine gentleman.
That card would be far too conditional for use with this deck's particular set of goals. But I do appreciate the suggestion, cheers!

Actually, the black icon is in the reminder text not in the actual ability cost, and therefore can be used. Feel free to look it up.
