wait a minute I live in Australia too(South Australia Adelaide) and we are always buy snacks from woolworths or coles and take them into the theatre... I've done it multiples times with my mates. Is that illegal? I mean no one said anything. or maybe it's different in other states idk
All jokes aside, the usual theater I go to, the Large Popcorn and Large soda cost $18.
That's exactly why I bring my OWN popcorn and drinks with me. The stuff they sell at the cinema is unreasonably expensive

Edit : To clear the misunderstanding, I do buy the movie if I enjoy the movie. I also want to support the movie industry (after all, they are the one who produce the movies). Sure, I do pirate but if get a chances to not pirate then I will take that chances.
