I remember when I showed this to my girlfriend. (I waited for season 1 to end before showing it to her) She was in tears the entire time. After that she kept bugging me to spoil her the rest, so I told her to read the manga. She's all caught up now and was crying the entire time she was reading. She's not even into anime or manga. Goes to show how gripping the whole thing is.
istg this anime came out of nowhere and became easily one that I got extremely invested in. Like I didn't even heard the name until the day it released, and here I am about to start reading the manga

I WISH RUBY WAS THE CENTER SO BAD
So not knocking on anyone who is saying how Kana is being inside her head too much cause she 100% is. However, on the other side of that coin is a person that for a decade has been trying so fucking hard to be recognized. How many of us would've given up if we were in this scenario where for years and years and years we were just ignored, were told we weren't good enough and had no one look our way and had no fans. At the very least our confidence would not be very good. That being said all it took was one person believing in her. Fucking great execution of that scene where everything is dark and then she sees Aqua holding the glow stick just. 🤌
